Chapter 49

The next day, I was extremely pump up to head back to school again. It almost felt like its been ages already. It was really an odd thing for me to be excited about school. Like seriously though, who on earth is ever happy to go back to school? We all dread ourselves there just like zombies. Today, I didn't felt like dressing up because hey, no one will remember what you wear yesterday unless you keep on using the same old thing like me. As usual, Toby was at our front door and with special guests, his brothers. See? Another odd thing. I am starting to think that today is going to be one weird day for me. I can feel it in between my toes.

"Good morning lil' sunshine!" Connor cooed as he enters the kitchen along with his other two brothers. Then he ruffled my perfect hair day (another weird thing because my hair don't usually does this to me at all! It decides to be "creative"). I shot him daggers on his way and he quickly raise both hands up in the air.

"Morning, boys and Con." I greeted, and then returned back on eating my homemade sandwich I prepared for myself. "What have you got there?" Riley asked, motioning towards my sandwich I was eating and trying to figure out what was inside it.

I look down at my sandwich and observe what I had put in there because I don't exactly remember what I had even laid on it."Just a sandwich. Lettuce, tomatoes.. You know the usual?" I said, not really caring. Toby then came behind me and wraps his arms around my shoulders then kissing my head. "Morning, princess. Slept well?" He asked, his voice was a little deep then usual. That gave me the shivers and goosebumps.

"Ugh. I swear I don't think I will be able to handle all this anymore." Riley complain with sass before looking back at his cell phone and going through Instagram. We all look at him as if to tell him deal with it. "Yeah I did." I replied back to Toby's question.

"Oh yeah, my brothers and I were wondering if you like to come to our band practice today this afternoon? You know if you want to then yeah but if you don't-" he kept rambling on and on until I interrupt, "What makes you think that I'll say no?"

"I don't know," he shrug, "so is that a yes?" I thought for about it and realised I couldn't as Liz and I planned on meeting Janelle at her place to settle things. And it would be my first time going over her house. Usually it would be her coming over to mine and she would just randomly walk in heading to the kitchen first to find food. It was like my house was her food supplier. Oh how I miss those moments so much.

Also, we didn't exactly tell her we are coming, we planned on surprising her because we know that she would not let us go over.

"Can't. I have an appointment with Liz and Janelle. Sorry," I apologise. "So that is why Liz couldn't hang out with me today!" Connor suddenly burst out of the blue. I just laugh at him, "Well too bad then," I shrug my shoulders and carried on giggling.

"You know I could seriously feel the stares all shooting at me." I said and started to play around with my food from the cafeteria. Why am I even eating this, I always have and always will hate the cafeteria food. It was lunch time and my day was pretty good I guess. Nothing happen but except for the stares and murmuring around school. I felt uncomfortable and uneasy around the hallways and worse, in the classroom.

"Just ignore them." Toby replied, taking a bite of his food. From behind him, I could see Kelsie and her cliques all laughing and giggling at something. One of her friend spotted me staring at them for too long now and nudge at Kelsie. This alarmed me and it was now my queue to look away and pretend nothing happen. "Rose, you alright?" I heard Toby asked. I sucked in a breath before nodding my head in response. Then, I heard heels come clicking away and my mind instantly clicked together.
