That night after the party everyone went back home with smiles on their faces. My mum even made a few new friends thanks to aunt Joan for introducing her to the ladies. I jog up the stairs and went into my room. Oh, I forgot to mention, I have a lot of presents from my relatives and even from the McDonough's. I can't wait to open it once I am done with my shower then tear them open!

It usually takes me about fifteen minutes to shower because I did a lot of thinking and mainly singing to my audience. Whenever I am in the bathroom, my whole entire life turns into a new one. I was a stage singer and sometimes I act here and there. I have a busy schedule so that is why it takes a very long time for me to get out of the shower. But once I am done, I dried myself and got dressed in pajamas. I put my hair up in a towel and wrapped it up then sat it on top of my head.

I heard my door being knocked and then my mum's head peer over it.

"Hey, wanna go down and join me opening presents?" She asked and I nodded my head, gathering all my gifts in my arms and followed my mum down. I sat my presents onto the floor and realised that there were two hot chocolate on the table made by my mum and fresh strawberries in a huge bowl was place in the middle of the coffee table. My mum gotten a few presents as well as because in my family, nobody is too old to receive presents. Everyone is still a child.

"Okay who should open theirs first? Me or you?" I asked as I take a sip of my hot chocolate drink. The liquid warms my entire body and makes me feel so cozy.

"You. Then we could take turns!" My mum said excitedly and clap her hands. Wow, the first I see my mum acting like a child. I randomly chose one gift bag and dip my hand into the paper bag, shutting my eyes as well so I won't be able to see what is in it.

I pull the gift out and open my eyes again to see a phone case bought from my aunt and uncle. It was cute floral print phone case and I know I would use this a lot. Next was my mum who chose a small box wrapped up with nice wrapping paper. She slowly tear out and it was a jewelry box thing. Opening the cover of the box, it revealed a silver necklace and two pair of dangling earrings. It was a matching kind of piece.

"Aw, that is so cute!" I commented and my mum agreed. I pop a strawberry into my mouth and chew on it as I grab another present. It was a medium size box and wrapped with nice wrapping papers. Tearing the paper slowly, I found out it was a shoe box and by the brand of Dr. Martens. I always wanted this pair of boots in my entire life. My mum did not allowed me to buy it because she thinks it is way too expensive just for a pair of boots. And it will eventually rot- okay maybe not rot but get nasty and I will have to throw them away. But now, I have my babies.

"Isn't that those boots you always asked me to buy you?" My mum questioned. "Yup but you never gotten around to let me buy it." I replied.

"I was planning on buying it for you but now I now I see that you got them, I don't have to buy it anymore, and you will now quit whining about how you don't have those boots of yours." My mum said. I might have been trying to beg my mum to buy me those but like I said, she never. And I am quite shock to hear her say that she wanted to buy me the boots.

A few more unwrapping up presents later, we were done with it and I have gotten a lot of back to school things. It was like 70% of it is for school (oh, I gotten a Jansport bag as well! gosh I love that bag so much) and 10% is clothing item and the rest of the 20% goes to random stuff like books and nick knacks. Well now I can decorate my room a bit more because it is very plain dry and I can't stand to see plain things.

We finished up eating up the strawberries and drank our hot chocolate. After that we wash the dishes and went back up to our separate room to rest and sleep since it was almost eleven o'clock and I really need to get in the habit of sleeping in early because once school reopens, I need to be fresh and awake.
