"Are we done yet?" I whine to no one in particular. "Oh, quit complaining. You're not in this suit," Tom says walking over to me with the Spider-Man mask off.

"Well excuse me, but some of us still have schoolwork to do," I say, condescendingly. Tom just shakes his head at me.

"That's a wrap for today! Tom I would like to discuss some parts of the script and give some notes," Jon, the director, yells.

"You haven't eaten anything all day," Tom states, "come over later and we can all get something together." He points at me as he starts walking backwards.

"Will Z be there? You know my parents will only let me go if she's there," I call out.

"I don't know. I'll ask her. Just, call your parents to see if you can go." With that Tom jogs over to Jon.

I smile to myself.

When I got casted to play one of Peter Parker's friends I was really nervous. I was only fifteen, which was really young compared to everyone else. More than that, this was my first big movie.

Both Zendaya and Tom were child actors once so they took sympathy in me. But Tom was the one that really took me under his wing.

The makeup artist wiped my face clear of make up. A relieving feeling since I never liked to wear it anyway.

Phone in my hands I press the 'call' button. "Hey, Mom! I was wondering if I could go out for food with Tom and some of the other cast."

"Gosh, that boy. You two are going to end up together, I swear," my mother says.

"Ew, Mom, no. He's like my brother," I say in disgust.

My mother sighs on the other end  of the line. "Will Zendaya be going?"

"I think so. Tom said he was going to ask her."

She lets out a breath. "Okay," she says almost reluctantly. "Just call us when you want to get picked up. No later than eight, Okay?"

"Okay," I nod my head even though she wouldn't be able to see.

"And do your schoolwork!" She adds.

"Okay, Mom. I will. I promise. Bye!"

"Love you Sweetie! Have fun!"

"Love you, too."

I change out of my costume, handing it to the costumer neatly folded. I head over to Tom's trailer helping myself inside. His head turns to see me. He grins.

"I'm guessing they said yes," he says getting his stuff ready. I nodded my head adjusting the strap of my bag on my shoulder. He walks over to me, looking down to meet my eyes.

His hand goes on my head messing up my hair. "Let's go," he says. A smile on his face as he races out of the trailer.

"Tommy!" I yell with a pout. I attempt to blow the hair out of my face. When that failed I pushed my hair back with my hand.

I quickly walk the steps down and shut the door behind me. I jog over to catch up with Tom.

He looks over at me and sighs. "Give me that," he says, snatching my bag from my arm.

"You don't have to carry that, you know? I can do it myself," I say as a matter of fact.

"I know. I just want to," he tells me.

It was my turn to sigh. He never stops babying me.
