"Want a ride down?" He asks, holding his hand out.

I look at him for a second then back down to the ground.

"Nah," I say, "look out!" I shout for the people down below.

"Y/N wait!"

I slide off the beam before he can say anything else.

I land legs first.

They bend in an unnatural position for a couple seconds until they go back to their normal shape.

"You really need to quit that out," Tony says helping me up.

"Why? I always end up fine," I ask.

"Not that. I'm talking about you getting all lovey with my trainee," his tone was laced with fake disgust.

Peter lands next to me, wrapping his arm around my shoulder.

Pepper silently smiles next to Tony.

I lean into Peter.

"Well, you better get used to it," I tease Tony.

Everything was playful until Peter tensed up.

I look up at him.

"What's wro—"

"Mr.Stark," he mumbles.

His eyes were trained on something past me.

I follow his gaze.

"Tony!" I scream, jumping in front of him to block the bullets.

It all went by so fast.

Pepper was on the floor, bleeding, next us.

Tony's full attention went on her.

"Pepper," he mutters.

"Tony suit up," I tell him but he doesn't listen and goes to Pepper.
