It has been two months since Thanos came to Earth on his self righteous crusade. Millions dead. Unspoken lost souls.

The streets of New York haven't been the same and probably never will be. Missing persons ads littered the walls and ground.

And despite all the destruction, loss, and pain, humanity arises from the debris. We rebuild and restrengthen. Because we will never stop fighting.

Many have tried to move on, but how can I?

Perhaps the only person I love is absent. And maybe if he were dead I could move on. But he's still there. I'm just not allowed to visit him.

Tony wouldn't let me. Not telling me why, just assuring me he was fine.

I still have this bad feeling that I get every time I stare at his empty desk.

Like I was doing now.

School started up a week ago but it wasn't the same.

Everyone, from the students to the faculty, were still frazzled by the most recent world take over attempt.

My loss of attention was disrupted by the loud speaker paging me to the main office.

This wasn't an uncommon thing now. Kids were always getting pulled out of class.

The teacher dismissed me solemnly, thinking that I had possibly lost a relative or something.

I collected my items and walked down to the main office.

My eyebrows scrunched together when I noticed the entire place empty. Happy came around a corner startling me, and ushered me out the door.

He rushed something out about Tony and Peter. He opened the door leaving not much of a choice other than getting inside the car.

Happy told me everything on the car ride to the Avengers building. My eyes widened at his short explanations.

I jumped out of the car the second we arrived. Running towards the lab. Happy hot on my heels.

I entered cautiously. Hearing the unnerving clattering of tech and science apparatus.

My breath caught in my throat at the sight.

The entire place looked roughed up. Things appeared to be thrown everywhere. Not just any things. Dangerous things. Sharp things. The most shocking was Peter slamming Mr.Stark into the wall in an aggressive manner.

Tony seemed to be battered and bruised. His clothing ripped. Peter didn't appear to be any different. Although I'm positive it wasn't from Mr.Stark. He would never lay a finger on Peter.

"Peter!" I call out in distress.

His head snaps towards me. A deadly glare in his eyes. Terrifying enough to cause me to step back.

The expression on his face softened with his gaze.

"(Y/N)," he mumbled, voice coarse. He loosens his grip on Tony, letting him fall to the ground.

Peter walked slowly towards me. A slight limp. My eyes dropped to his leg for a second, a prominent cut allowing blood to drip down.

His hair was unkempt. The curls nearly falling onto his face.

He reached out to me, the pads of his fingers grazing my cheek bones. They entangled themselves into my hair. Peter slowly turned around, back facing me. He tugged on my arm pulling it over his shoulder.

It was an indication that he wanted me to jump onto his back.

He wasn't using his words which concerned me, but I followed the unspoken instructions nonetheless. I buried my face into his neck, absorbing his scent. It wasn't the same as before. Which disappointed me. However, it still had a calming effect on me.

We quickly reached the training room, and he began to climb the high walls towards the ceiling. Peter had found a little alcove in the wall by happenstance. He took me there shortly thereafter and it became our secret hideout from all the chaos that came with being an Avenger.

He let me down when we reached the top. Peter's chest heaved as he turned around to face me. His eyes trailed over every single feature of me. He leaned closer and closer. One of his hands placed itself on my neck, his thumb rubbing soothing circles on my cheek.

My mind and heart became a jumbled mess. My thoughts and feelings contradicted and overpowered each other.

His warm breath fanned my face. I inhaled sharply through my nose.

Finally, he gently pressed his lips to mine.

(A/N: first of all, thank you for all the reads! I never thought I would get this many when I first started writing on Wattpad.

Second of all, I'm going to posting a couple of my unfinished blurbs that I never got around to completing. I just feel like even though I didn't finish I'm still proud of the writing in them. So I hope you enjoy them.

If you want you can even finish the blurbs themselves. I don't mind.

Anyway, seriously, thanks for reading my books. It means a lot.)
