Chapter 4

Jack's POV

We all go in the pool, except Emilia, who is sitting with a magazine, tanning. Daniel decides to bring out a giant unicorn inflatable and jump on it. He falls off straight away and everyone starts laughing at him. Emilia doesn't look up, but I can tell she's trying to cover a snigger. I jump in next to Daniel, then Corbyn and Jonah follow. Zach goes and sits with Emilia and starts talking with her. They both start laughing and I can't not feel a bit of jealousy. Emilia then gets up and goes into the house. She comes back out with a pair of my ray bans on. "Nice glasses." I say to her, smiling and swimming over to her side of the pool. "Thanks, Jack." She replies, laughing, then goes back to reading her magazine. I get out, then order pizza for everyone, as we haven't had lunch yet. After we've eaten, Emilia goes for a run with Jonah and Zach. I pass on the jog, as I don't feel great.

Emilia's POV

Jack orders pizza for lunch. I eat a piece, then sit down for a while, and read. "Does anyone want to go for a run?" Zach asks us, after all the pizza's gone. "Sure, I will." Jonah says to Zach. I look up and put my magazine down "I'll come." I tell everyone. Corbyn and Jack both feel a bit sick, as they ate most of the pizza. "I'm gonna leave off the run this time." Jack says. Corbyn nods to agree with that statement, then rushes inside. I run quickly after him, to make sure that he's okay. "Are you okay, bean?" I ask him, patting him on the back. His head is over the toilet and his face is flushed of color. "I'm okay, you go for your run." He replies. I run back downstairs, over to Jack. "You might want to keep an eye on Corbyn, he's puking upstairs." I tell him. As soon as I say this, he goes rushing up to the bathroom. I then go change into a sports bra and leggings, then grab the boys. "You ready to go?" I ask them. They stare at me for a solid minute, then distract their eyes. "Yeah, we're ready." Zach replies, sheepishly.

Jonah's POV

Emilia comes into my room to ask if me and Zach were ready to go. We stare at her for ages, then feel her looking at us weirdly, so we look away. "yeah, we're ready." I hear Zach say, so I get up and put some Nike Air VaporMax on. Emilia puts on her AirMax 95s, then grabs the keys to the house. We jog into the center of town, get smoothies and sit down for a while. "Emilia, we have something to tell you." Zach says to her. She looks a bit confused but looks at us saying to tell her what's up. "Jack really likes you Emilia." I tell her, smiling. Emilia looks at me and then Zach. She smiles "I like him too." She mumbles, then drinks her smoothie. I exchange a look with Zach, then smile. We all finish our smoothies, then run back to the house.

Emilia's POV

"Jack really likes you Emilia." Jonah tells me. I look at him, then Zach. "I like him too." I say under my breath, then I drink my smoothie. I notice Jonah and Zach exchange a smile, but I think nothing of it. We get back to the house, and check on Corbyn. "How're you now?" I ask him. He's sitting, watching Netflix with Jack. "A lot better." He tells me. I smile, then run upstairs for a shower. I then get out, dry my hair, and do my makeup. I grab a pair of sweats and a loose white shirt, put them on and go back down. Jonah is whispering something into Jack's ear. Jack then smiles and looks at me "Hey Emilia." He says to me. I smile, then go join in on the Netflix watching club. I lay down on the couch, then fall asleep.

Jack's POV

Once Emilia's in the shower, the boys come over to me "Emilia said that she really likes you while we were out." Jonah tells me. I smile and notice Emilia at the bottom of the stairs. "Hey Emilia." I say. She smiles and comes and lays on the sofa, to watch Netflix with the rest of us. She soon falls asleep. After a while, I fall asleep with her.

*Next day*

I wake up to a beautiful aroma floating through the door. I walk down the stairs to find Emilia making waffles in the kitchen. "Morning Jack." She says to me, whilst grabbing some ice cream out of the freezer. "Mornin' Emilia." I mumble to her. The boys start to come out of hibernation and follow the smell into the kitchen. I'm already sitting there, eating a waffle covered in strawberries. Emilia gives the rest of the boys their waffles, then gets herself a smoothie.
