Chapter 28

*The next morning*

Jack's POV

This morning, we woke up early to go to the airport for our flight back to LA. I had to pack my things quickly, as I forgot to last night. Em has already packed her clothes, so she gets to sleep for a little while longer. Sometimes I wish that I was more organised, but never mind that. I quickly hop into the shower, then spend around twenty minutes doing my hair. Once I'm finished in the bathroom, Em goes in without saying a word to me. She looks beautiful as per usual, but she also looks quite tired, as we've had a busy few months on tour. Once we're both ready to go, we walk down together to the lobby, where we're meeting the others. When we arrive, Corbyn and Christina are already there with Daniel, but Zach and Jonah aren't here yet. As soon as the car arrives, so do the other boys. We get stuck in traffic, which may make us late for our flight. I have no idea of where we are, so I'm counting on our driver to get us to the airport quickly.

When we finally reach the airport, we have twenty-five minutes until our flight, so we rush through security and quickly hop onto the plane. On the way, we stop briefly in one of the stores to get snacks for the journey. I also buy Em a cuddly toy penguin, as they are her favorite animal. We luckily made our flight, but we were minutes away from missing it. As soon as we boarded and sat in our seats, Em fell asleep. I smiled when I saw her with her head on Daniel's shoulder, snoring. I play fortnite on my MacBook during the flight, and I manage to beat Zach so many times. The journey is long, so after a couple hours I decide to go to sleep too.

Emilia's POV

When the plane lands, I'm shaken awake by Dani. I then wake Jack up, grab my backpack, then exit the plane. It feels good to be back home again. Once we've walked through security and collected our suitcases, we walk out to the main lobby/reception. When we get out there, Lilly and Hanna are waiting for me. I do a quick walk up to them, as I can't really run at the moment. We have a group hug, then let go after around three minutes. "I missed you guys so much" I tell them with a smile plastered on my face. "We missed you too" They say in unison, then we all start giggling. They ask me to see the ring and other things like that, until I get a tap on my shoulder. I turn around to see Dani, Corbyn and Jonah waiting for me to come with them "Zach and Jack had to take care of some business, but they're going to meet us at the house" Jonah tells me.

I say goodbye to Lilly and Hanna, then get in the uber with the boys. When we're in the car, my phone starts ringing whilst I'm touching up my makeup. "Who's calling?" I ask Jonah, as he's closest to it. "Who's daddy?" He asks me, with a confused look on his face. Dani is drinking a bottle of water and not really paying attention to what is being said. I put my stuff down, then pick up the phone. "Hey Zach" I say looking into Jonah's eyes, then I get out of the car and start laughing. We've arrived at chipotle because I wanted food. I watch as Dani spits his water out onto Corbyn, who is now very annoyed at him. I hear the boys gasping behind me as I talk to him. "What are you laughing at?" He asks me. I smile and walk further away from the car. "Well Jonah saw your contact name om my phone..." I reply. Zach bursts out laughing as we changed it earlier, and he said he'd call me to see what the boys would do. "Where are you, you were meant to be here ages ago" He says. "We're at chipotle to buy food" I tell him. He waits no longer than a second to ask me "Can you bring us food please?" I roll my eyes, but of course he can't see. "Fine, what do you want?" I ask. He tells me what to buy, then I walk in and buy the food. I then climb into the car again and sit down with the food. All the boys are staring at me. "What?" I ask them, whilst putting my backpack down onto the floor. "Nothing" They all say, rather too quickly. I nod my head, then sit quietly for the rest of the ride home. It was an uncomfortable silence, but no one dared to break it.

When we got back to the house, Dani put a blindfold on me. I'm not sure why, but he did. I'm walked I guess into the house, but I can't be too sure. I can smell Jack's cologne as soon as I walk to wherever I'm going. Someone takes my blindfold off to reveal Jack's family standing in front of me. I smile and internally scream, then hug them all. Isla hugs me for what seems like forever, but it's only been a few minutes. I've only spoken to Jack's family over the phone, and only seen them on facetime, so it's nice to finally meet them face to face. Ava seems quite cool, and I can tell that we're going to be good friends. Jack's mom is probably the nicest person that I've ever met. We sit down on the couch, eat food, and talk for hours, until it's time to put Isla to bed. I take her up to one of the spare rooms and tuck her into bed. I sing her a song, then turn the nightlight on, then turn the main light off, and shut the door. "You did a good job there" A voice says from behind me. I turn around to see Jack smiling at me "You're gonna be a great mom" He adds on. I smile in response, then kiss him. I then walk back downstairs to get a glass of water. When I walk through, I notice everyone watching a movie, so I go in and join them. It turns out that they were watching The Blair Witch Project, aka one of the scariest films made. "Oh my God Jeepers nutz" I yell at every scary part, which is quite very often. Everyone always laughs when I do, but I can tell that they're just as scared. Soon, I've had enough of being scared, so I go up to bed, remove my makeup, put my pyjamas on, and climb into bed. Everyone else comes up once the movie has finished, which wasn't too soon after. Tomorrow is a big day, as we find out the gender of the baby. Corbina are organising the baby shower for the day after, so we'll just have to wait to find out.
