Harry

I stumbled out of the bar and held onto Louis' jacket for balance.

"Mate, I want to see Ellie." I told him as we walked to the next bar on the strip.

"Give er' a minute to think, you fucked up." He told me before we made our way into the club. I had barely even realized Louis was talking.

I immediately wanted to leave the minute some girl grabbed my arm and asked me to take her home so I told Louis I would meet him back at then house.

I called an Uber and without even thinking I told him Ellie's address as oppose to mine.

I made sure her dads car wasn't in the driveway before I got out and walked up to the door, ringing the bell.

"Harry? What do you want?" She mumbled, wiping her eyes.

"You." Was all I managed to say before stepping into her house and kissing her.

"Harry, we shouldn't," she started but I shook my head, disagreeing.

"I need you, right now, Ellie," I pulled her upstairs and into her room and shut the door. Ellie's hands made their way into my hair but let go when I pulled her shirt over her head.

"Your dad isn't home right?" I heavily let out, pulling her track pants down.

"He's at Sarah's," she pulled my shirt off and pushed me onto the bed.

"That's lucky," I smiled at her and we carried on.

I put my head in my hands, groaning. Harry shouldn't have come over last night, but at the same time, I didn't make him leave.

I mean, after we did our thing I made him leave and I haven't talked to him since.

I pulled on my loose ripped jeans and a yellow shirt, tying it at the front. My heart ached that Harry and I weren't "together". I ran my fingers over a picture I had printed out of Harry squeezing my cheeks and grinning in the background and sighed, hoping we'll just get past this.

I checked my phone and decided I should probably leave for work so I grabbed my keys and locked up.

When I opened the door harry was standing there, with his hand up, about to knock.

"I have to go to work," I mumbled and pushed past him, locking the door.

"So, let's just pretend last night didn't happen?" He asked, turning around to look at me as I walked to my car.

"It shouldn't have happened, Harry." I told him, stopping and turning to look at him. He shoved his hands in his pockets and laughed, looking down.

"That's funny, because I don't remember you stopping it." My chest ached in anger and I grit my teeth.

"We've done it a hundred times, what does it matter now?" I questioned, throwing my hands up.

"You broke up with me!" Harry yelled to me, walking down the steps.

Memories of Aaron walking towards me before he would hit me flashed through my head and I covered my face, wincing. I didn't realize until Harry hugged me that I was yelling at him to stop.

"Baby, I wasn't going to hurt you." His hands rubbed circles on my back and I sobbed, grabbing his shirt. "I wasn't trying to scare you, I'm sorry." I could feel him press his lips to my head and I pushed away from him.

"I have to work." I opened the door and he stopped me from closing it.

"Stop crying, I'm not letting you drive while you're a mess." He said and I wiped my face and smiled.

"See? Perfect, excuse me." I shut the door and rolled my window down. "Harry I think we need a break," it nearly killed me to tell him that but I knew I just needed a while. I didn't even care that he had smoked, it was just the arguments in between.

"El, please, don't start." He waved it off and rested his arms on the open window.

"I'm serious." I managed to get out in between my sobs. "I'm sorry, I love you always Harry." I told him and he laughed, standing up and wiping his mouth.

"This is bullshit, El, we're so in love." He started, pulling his hair.

"Just give it ti-" I started to say but he cut me off.

"Time my ass. You wanna break up? Fine. See you around." And just like that he walked away, got in his car and drove off.

Harry

"Fuck man! I want her back." I said to Liam while we sat on the couch. "We wouldn't normally be talking at this time anyway, but just knowing I can't call or text her makes it so hard." I could barely handle myself and Liam wouldn't let me in my room myself.

"Mate, you guys will be alright, she's just upset right now." He had been saying this for the past hour and I tried to believe him, I just couldn't.

"While we were breaking up all I could think about was how beautiful she looked, I should have told her, I should've just told her and she wouldn't ha-" Liam stopped me.

"Harry! She knows you think she's beautiful. You need to sort out your differences, you'll figure it out." I thought about what Liam was saying and it was finally something I could agree on.

"You think she's worth it?" I asked him, I already knew the answer but I needed to hear his response.

"Harry, you've never dated a girl a day in your life and here you are sitting on the sofa, nearly crying over one, damn right I think she's worth it." I laughed, knowing Liam was right but also because I wanted to cry but couldn't.

"Thanks buddy. I'm gonna run and get some stuff from the drug store, need anything while I'm out?" I asked Liam while I shoved my shoes on and opened the door.

"No thanks," was the last thing I heard before shutting the door and climbing into my car.

I drove quickly to the store and got out, running out of the heat.

I searched up and down the aisles for hair and body wash. I bumped into someone and looked down to say sorry, but was surprised to recognize the person.

"Harry, hey," the small girl said, hugging me.

"Evelyn, how's it going?" I hugged the girl tightly until she pulled away.

"It's good, how are you? I haven't seen you in ages." Evelyn and I used to hookup every so often and the tension was so thick you could probably cut it with a knife.

"I know, it's been forever." I looked at what she was holding in her hands and wasn't surprised to see condoms. I stifled a laugh and look at her face.

"Alright well, I'd better go, call me if you need anything," she winked at me before shuffling past and walking down the aisle.

She was a nice girl, just wasn't in it for the long run.

I grabbed what I needed and went up to the cash, paying and leaving the store quickly.

I thought of all the ways I could possibly get Ellie back but nothing stood out, she wasn't the girl who loved chocolates and dinners on the beach.

She likes flowers and eating Thai food in her underwear with a sweater on and if that doesn't sound like a dream, I don't know what is.

I had only been with the girl for six or seven months and was already so in love with her.

I caught feelings for her harder than any liquor I've drank.
