"Ten minutes boys," one of the backstage managers popped his head in the door while I was buttoning up my shirt. We were in Toronto, the same venue as yesterday's show and it was huge.

"Ready?" Liam stood up and we all followed suit, mumbling on our way out. I hadn't been able to answer Ellie all day and I knew I would hear about it later, I'm just so frustrated with this tour and I don't want to take it out on her.

The second we stepped onto the stage the stadium practically shook from the cheering.

"Hello Toronto!" Liam yelled into his mic and the fans only got louder. "We are One Direction and we are so happy to be back in this amazing city," he told them and he was right. Toronto was one of my favourite places to perform.

The lights dimmed and I moved to one of the higher levels of the stage.

"Written in these walls are the stories that I can't explain, I leave my heart open but it stays right here empty for days, she told me in the morning she don't feel the same about us in her bones, it seems to me that when I die these words will be written in my stone." I finished my part, taking a breath and jumping off the platform I was on, back onto the main stage.

My chest was already on fire and adrenaline was pumping through my veins. I waited until Louis had finished his part before joining back in.

"The story of my life, I take her home, I drive all night, to keep her warm and time is frozen. The story of my life, I give her hope, I spend her love until she's broken inside, the story of my life." This song reminds me of Ellie, as do most things. I miss her stupid jokes and comments that would piss me the fuck off but she would know it and then have to cuddle me and I just miss her.

"The story of my life, I take her home, I drive all night, to keep her warm and time is frozen. The story of my life, I give her hope, I spend her love until she's broken inside, the story of my life." We finished the song and the crowd went insane. It still shocked me that this was my life now. I sipped my water and laughed at one of the signs in the audience.

It read in all caps, "HARRY! MY WALLPAPER IS YOU AND IT MAKES MY BOYFRIEND JEALOUS!" I pointed to the girl, laughing.

"My wallpaper is my girlfriends," before I could even finish they went crazy. "Anyway, my girlfriends dog and she gets jealous too," the girl covered her mouth with her hand and tears ran down her face.

A chorus of "Bear!" Ran through the audience and I laughed.

"I personally like Bear more than Ellie," Liam whispered into the mic, making everyone laugh. "Don't tell El I said that though," he broke out into a smile and winked.

"Bear's the size of me so I'm terrified of him," Louis added and I rolled my eyes. I went to step back, tripping on something and falling slightly, catching the people in my areas attention.

"Shit," I yelled when I got tangled in the chords. "Took a little tumble," I mumbled and the audience laughed. "Guys, someone help." I pleaded and Niall walked over before untangling it from my foot.

"Are you going to fall at every show?" He reached down and pulled my hand up, the people in the front reaching out for me. I ran my hand across theirs and they screamed.

"Anyway," I huffed. "I miss the shit out of my girlfriend so we aren't gonna talk about her," I playfully glared at the guys and they rolled their eyes.

Continuing on with the concert, I set into my genuine state of happiness. Performing will always be my favourite thing to do. It sets a calmness, despite all the commotion in my mind and I feel like I can actually breathe when I'm up here. It's a different type of happiness than when I'm with Ellie though, it's almost like no matter what goes wrong, it'll be okay if I'm still performing.

After singing the rest of the planned songs and some encores, we stood in a line and I brought the mic up to my lips.

"Thank you Toronto for being one of the best crowds," I paused and let them calm down. "We are One Direction," I yelled and the lights dimmed as we walked off stage.

We made small chat as we walked backstage and I sipped a water before throwing it in a bin.

"Good job, baby." I heard the familiar voice and turned around to see the gorgeous girl looking up at me.

"What the fuck," I pulled Ellie into a hug and squeezed her. "What are you doing here?" I was completely speechless and overfilled with joy. I pulled her away and looked at her before kissing her smiling lips.

"I know it's only been a week or something but I really missed you and I wanted to watch you." She smiled and I kissed her again.

"I missed you, love." I pressed my lips to her forehead before pulling away. "Fuck." I smiled at her.

"Hey!" Liam and the boys turned around.

"Ellie," Niall pulled her into a hug and the others followed suit.

"You guys did great tonight, I'm really proud of you." She looked at Liam, "and I know you've always liked Bear more than me." She laughed and I wrapped an arm around her waist.

The boys and her all laughed on the way to the change room and we pushed our way in, my hands glued to her. I was beyond happy she came, pressing a kiss to her temple.

She smiled up at me and I almost got down on one knee right fucking there.

"Okay, we'll leave you guys for a bit, maybe dinner tonight?" Liam asked and I nodded, locking the door as soon as they stepped out.

"Fuck," I pressed a hard kiss to her lips and she laughed.

"Relax tiger," she teased, her smile never faltering.

"You're so beautiful," I told her as she walked across the room to get me a water. I ran my hands down my face, stripping off my shirt to put on a different one.

"Maybe we should just go back to the hotel?" She bit her lip and I smirked, grabbing her hips to throw her onto the couch while she laughed.
