Ellie

"Dad," I interrupted his meeting with some business man. He was pushing his hair out of his face when he turned around.

"One second sweetie," I sighed and shut the door. Employees quickly walked by me as I went to sit back at my desk.

"Ms. Adams," One of the ladies who sat in my section greeted me. I smiled politely, sitting down in front of my computer. I got thousands of emails a day of people pleading for a signing.

I had yet to organize my new desk as papers were carelessly thrown, paper clipped together. I pulled out a drawer of the filing cabinet and organized the 50 contracts that were put into play this month.

We had recently signed Justin Beiber, Selena Gomez, Beyoncé, Adele and Katy Perry. My dad was busy keeping those five happy while I was the one to bring in all the new clients. I negotiated prices and advantages with the celebrities when the time came.

We were top ranked record label in the world at the moment but that didn't mean we could stop working. I had been pushed past my limits at this job and being the bosses daughter was not easy.

"Ms. Adams, I have the paperwork you asked for this morning," Lilly, one of the receptionists said handing me a stack of papers. I gasped clapping my hands.

"Yes! Thank you so much!" Her eyes widened at my outburst and she laughed. "Sorry, this is the paper that signs Beyoncé to us." Beyoncé had been with us since the beginning and her contract of another five years had ended.

"No problem Hun," she turned and walked away as I quickly logged back into my email. I emailed Beyoncé that we had the papers ready and put them neatly beside my computer screen.

"Ellie, what did you need?" My dad said pushing his glasses to rest on his head. I grinned holding up the file Lilly gave to me.

"Ah, thank you!" He clapped kissing my forehead. "Was that all?" He asked flipping through the pages.

"No, this weekend is ten years of your business and you planned that party, is that still on?" He sighed, making me think that it wasn't.

"It can't be this weekend, I have two very important conferences with the boy band. We have to reschedule."

"We can't reschedule, every other weekend is booked." I ran my fingers through my hair as he looked at me. He shrugged his shoulders and I huffed.

"We won't do it I guess," I rolled my eyes.

"You're going to regret not doing a ten year celebration." I turned my chair the other way, starting to type an email out to all the employees.

"Well, I'm sorry Ellie but this is important." He said raising his voice, causing employees to look our way. I immediately put my head down, embarrassed for myself.

"Yes, dad." He walked away angrily. It sucks being the bosses daughter for two reasons, people always think I get promotions because I'm his daughter and he can yell at me.

I clicked my tongue repeatedly but stopped when Lilly called my name. "Your shift was done half an hour ago, Lola is here." I shook my head to clear my thoughts.

"I'm sorry, I'll see you tomorrow." I shut all the drawers and locked the filing cabinet. I didn't bother going to my dads office and saying goodbye with the amount of stress he's already caused me today. The walk to my car made me freeze as it poured rain.

"I'm sorry for the confusion, sir." My hand was aching from the amount of writing I had to do for this phone call. I rolled my eyes again before slamming the pen down.

"Sir, I'm very sorry for the confusion but you not rescheduling is not my problem." I opened the kitchen window as I began to over heat.

"I'm very sorry but there's nothing I can do about this." I waited for an answer back before hanging up the phone.

A celebrity's agent canceled an appointment but didn't reschedule, making everybody feel like they're under pressure. I heard the front door open and peeked down the long hallway.

"Ellie?" My dad called out just as I walked around the corner.

"Yes?" I still had on my black ripped jeans and t-shirt from work.

"I have people coming for dinner, this is very important. Look your very best, please." I nodded walking up the stairs.

"Always."

I heard him put his laptop bag on the table just as I shut my bedroom door.

My hair was straightened already and I was too lazy to do anything else. I was in desperate need of a change as I looked at my old brown hair that reached below my shoulders.

I very quickly refreshed my makeup and changed into a lace top with baggy black dress pants. I slipped on some heels I got for Christmas years ago and pulled half my hair up into a bun, leaving the rest straight down.

I heard a knock echo through the house and my heart leaped. Anyone could walk through that door right now and it could change for the better or for the worse. I sprayed perfume on before walking out my bedroom door.

"Ron Harty, nice to meet you," I came down the stairs to see my dad shaking someone's hand. Five other people stood behind an older man and I smiled at them, quickly looking away as my dad called me.

"This is Ellie, you most likely talked to her on the phone." I stuck my hand out and he shook it.

"Pleasure to meet you." I politely said to the man, trying to show the best impression.

"Right, so these are my boys." The older man, Alan, said pointing to the young boys. I had to blink my eyes a few times before my gaze landed on them.

They were all attractive. Overly attractive.

"I'm Niall, pleasure." I was taken aback by his Irish accent.

"I'm Zayn," the guy with the tall black hair stated giving a small wave.

"Hello love, I'm Louis," this one was very peppy.

"Liam, nice to meet you." He bowed his head as he spoke.

"And I'm Harry," the cutest boy said, winking at me. His curls were mesmerizing but his accent was heavenly.

"The pleasure is all mine." I shook their hands and we were soon moved down the hallway into the dining area.
