Ellie
"Enough about business! Ellie, how long have you worked for your father?" Alan asked after our two hour conversation about the contract.
"I've been working there for about five years." I hadn't realized it had been that long and surprised myself.
"What kind of work do you do?" He asked. I picked up that he was trying to learn more about how the company runs, rather than just signing the contract.
"I deal with all the appointments, answer the phone, bring in new clients and some more smaller things."
"How many hours do you work a day?" Liam peeped up from the end of the couch.
"Usually ten, I work around my schedule." I knew my dad didn't like me saying that but I knew it was better to tell the truth.
"Hard worker." Alan nodded his head in approval.
"She works very hard." My dad agreed, the smile on my face growing larger. Harry had been glancing at me all through dinner, which made me a little nervous.
"Well, this was all amazing. I'm very impressed with the contract and business." Alan admitted looking at the boys.
"Thank you, I appreciate that." My dad reassured him and I nodded in agreement.
"Can we sign tonight?" Alan asked. I dropped my fork and my dad choked on his wine.
"Sorry..?" The stutter in my dads voice was evident.
"I'm impressed, I want to sign the boys tonight." I laughed happily and clapped my hands.
"Alan, doesn't even ask us." Louis said sarcastically. He gave Alan a dirty look jokingly. Harry and I caught eyes and didn't look away until he decided to speak up.
"I'm happy with the decision." Harry blurted out. I rose one eyebrow as I brang my plate to the sink.
"Ellie, call Linda to finish the dishes, this is big." I nodded smiling and hit a button on our system, making a beep go through the whole house.
I saw Linda go into the kitchen just as I sat on the couch. The boys sat on the "L" shaped couch and my dad and I shared the love seat. Alan sat in the recliner, flipping through papers my dad gave him.
"Boys, you okay with this?" My heart raced and my palms sweat just like they do every time someone signs.
All five of the boys gave their acceptance and I smiled, looking at my dad. He let out a deep breath and as soon as Alan handed back the paper he stood up, "shall we celebrate?"
Harry
I walked inside to use the bathroom and saw Ellie standing in the kitchen.
"How come you're in here?" She asked
"Uhm, bathroom." I stuttered and looked down. She was absolutely beautiful. She nodded once and turned around to look out the window.
"Looks like you guys are having a blast out there." Everyone was drinking and dancing, except for Liam. Liam couldn't drink so he was our DD.
"It would be more fun if you were out there." I saw her cheeks go red from my spot at the island.
"I don't party like you guys." I walked beside her and looked out the window.
Liam was trying to stop Zayn from jumping in the pool, Alan was drinking with Ron and the other boys were being stupid.
