Harry
"Boys come on, focus, we need to record this song today, no exceptions." Alan barked at us through his headset and we nodded dramatically.
"Anything you for Ally boy," Louis pointed to him and he cracked a smile.
"Okay!" He stopped laughing and hit play on the music.
We had been here for nearly four hours and we were almost finished, we were just fixing a few things.
"Okay, I'll have them edit it and put it onto your next album." He high fived all of us in a row as we walked out of the studio.
"When does that come out again?" Niall picked up a strawberry and popped it in his mouth.
"January 16, just after you're back from tour." I winced at the word and we all nodded.
"Wanna go play laser tag?" Liam nudged my shoulder and I nodded.
"Let me just say bye to Ellie, I'll meet you down there." I was already practically running down the hall while they were getting ready.
I walked behind her and placed a kiss on her cheek, making her jump.
"Jesus, Harry," she groaned and put her head in her hands. "You scared the shit out of me." I laughed and she leaned up to kiss me.
"I'm gonna play laser tag with the boys," I told her and she smiled widely.
"Awe, that's going to be so fun!" She screeched and I kissed her again.
"You look really fucking nice." She was wearing loose, ripped jeans and a thin white shirt tucked in.
"It's so simple," she looked down at her outfit and I bit my finger to distract myself.
"Simple looks good on you," she scrunched up her nose. "Have you talked to your dad about working at the playground?" I asked her and she looked down.
"He doesn't know," she trailed off and I sighed. "I get off at three, go home until six and work until eight thirty and it's only Monday and Tuesday! He doesn't have a reason to know." She whines and I rolled my lips.
"I know, I barely see you anymore." I pouted and she rolled her eyes.
"Bullshit, when you aren't working or with the guys you're with me." She reminded me and I smiled at her as big as I could.
"Okay, I gotta go, I'll see you tonight," I kissed her and she nodded. "I love you," I called over my shoulder.
"I love you too," she called back and turned to work on her computer.
Ellie
Harry leaves in a few days and I wouldn't be able to see him for a month. The longest I had ever been away from the curly haired boy was when we broke up, which was only three weeks or something like that.
"Stop thinking about it." I jumped at Harry's voice and turned to look at him. He smirked as he leaned on his door frame and I looked down.
"I'm just going to miss you," he walked over to me and sat beside the desk on the bed.
"I know, love." He pulled me into his lap and I sighed before my phone started ringing.
"Hang on," I told him, standing up and leaving the room.
"Hey, Ellie!" My dad practically yelled and I winced.
"Hi, dad."
"Can you meet me at Levi's in half an hour?" I glanced at my watch and shrugged before realizing he couldn't see me.
"Yeah, I'll be there." I could hear his car running but ignored it.
"Okay, see you soon." I heard paws clicking down the hall as the call ended and looked to see a very guilty looking Bear running away from me.
"Bear," I called sternly and I watched as he sprinted down the hall.
I walked down the stairs and into the living room to see toilet paper everywhere.
"Ugh!" Harry turned into the living room and laughed while I knelt down to pick it up.
He helped me and ten minutes later everything looked the same.
"I have to go meet my dad, I'll see you in a bit?" I kissed him as I walked by and felt a hand slap my butt. "Stop!" I yelped and jumped passed him.
"Okay, have fun." Harry walked up the stairs just as I pulled on my other shoe and shut the door.
The radio played one of the boys songs and I turned it up, singing along quietly before being interrupted by a phone call.
"Hi, Harry," I transferred the call to my car. "What's up?"
"I miss you, that's all." His voice was serious and I almost laughed.
"I just left?" My car jerked a little bit and I sighed.
"But I miss you," he reminded me and I nodded.
"What are you gonna do for a month," I laughed lightly and earned a "hm".
"Cry myself to sleep every night, the usual when you aren't home." I threw my head back in laughter at his comment and heard him huff.
"Baby," I let out a breath and shook my head lightly. "Don't think about it too much." I pulled into the parking lot and found my dads car, pulling in beside it.
"I'll try, I guess," he groaned, sounding as miserable as he could.
"Okay, I gotta go, love you." I grabbed my purse from the passenger side and opened the door.
"Love you," the call ended quickly and I locked my car before making my way into the restaurant.
"Ms. Adams, right this way." I smiled at the hostess and she returned it.
"Hey," I thanked the young girl before sitting across from my dad.
"Hey," I responded and put my purse on the booth.
"I already ordered your drink, don't worry." He sipped his beer and I rolled my eyes jokingly. "The house sold," he said and I raised my eyebrows.
"That's amazing, is that why we're meeting?" I asked curiously and he shook his head, looking down. "Thank you," I smiled at the waitress who brought my drink before turning back to my dad.
"No," he paused before looking back up. "Zach is in town." The name made my heart stop and my body froze. "He contacted me and would like to see you, if that's okay." I couldn't speak and my dad sent me a sympathetic look.
"I- I," my mouth opened and closed but nothing came out. "Okay," I finally let out a breath and his eyes widened slightly.
"Really?" His voice held surprise and shock but I just nodded my head.
"I want answers." I downed my drink and took a ten dollar bill out, putting it on the table. "Tomorrow at two I'll meet you and him here." I told my dad and he nodded.
"I'm proud of you Ellie, love you." I couldn't sit and more and grabbed my purse, standing up.
"I love you too, I'll see you tomorrow." I walked away after he hugged me and sighed, the information still processing.
The drive home was short and I opened the door quickly, searching for Harry.
"El?" He poked his head out from the living room and I quickly walked over to him, kissing him quickly.
It was quiet for a minute before I spoke.
"I want to tell you about my mom."
