"First battle!"

Valt nudges you and shines you a confident smile. Taking this as your cue, you snap your fingers and quickly transformed in a poof of smoke. From your glass world, you overheard the several gasps and cheers as Valt caught you midair.

"There you have it folks! Did you see that?! The transformation right before our eyes—it's the real deal! I can't believe it transformed!"

The host's voice shouts out in enthusiasm and you were incredibly grateful your shy expression couldn't be shown. Although, you can't help but get an. . .annoyed tingly feeling coming from your chest? This surely isn't coming from you. You don't feel anything negative toward the attention—is it coming from Valt? Is this what Spriggan was talking about when it came to feeling what your owner does?

A resonance?

"From the first match, both bladers are vying for attention! It's a showdown between the attack-type [First name] and the defense-type Unlock Unicorn."

"Unicorn. . ." Valt says, bringing you up hoping you could hear him. "Even for a defense type, it's Horn Shoot is incredibly strong, but Kensuke managed to Burst Unicorn." His grip tightened before inserting you in the launcher and pointed it down. "Like Kensuke, do your best to knock him out, [First name]!"

"Ready, Set!"

"Three!"

"Two!"

"One!"

"Go, Shoot!"

Due to your nature of an Attack-type, you immediately flew in to deal the first blow. The handle of your sword twists as you pointed the blade front and center to your monster opponent. Perhaps you've gotten used to the semi-human appearances of your typical Beyblade friends, but seeing Unlock Unicorn looking exactly like a textbook unicorn did surprise you a bit. There's a noticeable height difference.

Though, it didn't scare you in the slightest. Sparks fly as your sword collides with the horn on its head, struggling to properly land the blow. The steel blade of your sword curves downward as Unicorn thrusts its head forward. Forcing you away from the collision, your foot glides behind the other to come to a slow stop as you attacked again.

Doing what Unicorn does best, it deflects your attacks as quickly as possible. Having such a large body compared to your human one gave you even more of a disadvantage. You stumble a bit to gain back your footing while cursing underneath your breath. Defense types are always annoying to fight.
