Scarlett's P.O.V

I'm not sure what hurts more. The fact that my best friend is gone or the fact that I'll never see her again. She was the reason why I came out of my shell. She was always there for me and now she's gone, leaving without a trace.

I won't lie. I love her. Not as much as Kota but she was the person who saved me all the way back when. And here I am. Apart of her pack and she isn't even here.

Everyone seems broken. Kota isn't her self anymore. She can't sleep and she tries so so hard to find Sky but it's pointless. Wherever she is it's too far to tell. It's still seems like just yesterday we were all laughing and having fun. Living life.

Why the hell did things have to change?

Our pack link with her has been severed and when it left I felt a small part of me leave too.

"We can't sit around and do nothing hun. We have to find her." Kota sat in sand and wrapped her arms around my shoulders leaning on me.

"I know hun. I know. It's not the same without her. She made us...us." I kiss her arms, not sure what else to say. The waves are the only things that are heard.

"Hun?"

"Yes"

"Would you be opposed to leaving this pack? Now don't get all upset I know that you just joined but being in this pack only brings sadness"

It's true. From what both her and Sky told me, there is nothing to look forward to in the pack.

"I'm not sure, love. If we did leave where would be go?"

"To Skylar."

Skylars P.O.V

It has been two weeks since I've settled in with this new pack. All the member are extremely welcoming. they all didn't seem to care that I was from another pack.

Recently I've been hanging out with Ann. She had three pups that needed her love, but she always found room for me. Her pups grew on me and were constantly at my house, keeping me company.

"So Rose, why do you live all alone?" Becky asked curiously. Ever since the day she met me she has been calling me rose. Why? I could never be sure.

"I had to move her because it was better for me." It wasn't a total lie. I mean I do feel more at home here than I ever have.

"Let's play a game!" She completely disregarded her own question.

"Come on let's go Rose!" Her brothers shouted in unison.

Lazily getting off my couch, I walked outside to see that they were all in their forms.

'Lets go Sky. The pups are waiting for their sister' My inner wolf laughed. They always treated me like family.

I ran inside stripped and shifted and chased them all throughout the woods. We played for about 3 hours before fatigue hit them.

We made our way to the lake and they all collapsed before it, drinking desperately from it.

'God you'd think they just fought the world' I chuckled at the thought.

Soon after they were done they made their way to me and snuggled against my stomach, within seconds they were out.

"So this is what you do in your free time? I thought you were too 'dangerous' for this lifestyle" a familiar voice joked.

I turned my head to see Havana sauntering my way, looking as gorgeous as ever.

"Every dangerous person has a loving side."

"Ha so you're still dangerous, eh? How come I've never seen it?"

"I haven't had a reason to show it. Just be happy with all that you've seen"

She sat beside, resting her head on my paws.

"You know if I didn't know any better I'd think that your bad side was nonexistent."

"Ha. If only that were true" I laughed humourlessly.

Before she could respond Melissa, Eric's Luna, appeared out of the bushes.

She was a sight for sore eyes. Her brown fur was traced with specs of white, making it hard not to stare. Her soft blue eyes touched the soul of whoever laid eyes upon her. Nothing about her seemed freighting, in fact she seemed as thought she could never harm an insect. She held herself elegantly, demanding respect without saying it. She was magnificent.

"How are you settling in dear?"

"It has been great. Your pack has shown me nothing but kindness"

"Take a walk with me, Havana please take the pups back to Ann."

Havana immediately woke the children and made her way back to town. Lifting myself up, I walked next to her waiting for what her true intentions were.

"The Pack of Bones wishes to have an audience with you. They wish to have you back, but like we said you are not our item, but our family. If you wish to go back it's solely up to you."

"I'm staying here. There's nothin to go back to if I ever returned to them." I said coldly. There was nothing to miss about them.

"Wonderful! but we still need them to hear it from you and don't worry you don't have to compose yourself. I understand that you have pent up anger that needs to be released."

She understood all of my pain and I loved it.

She turned around stopping quickly "We're are leaving in an hour. Don't worry about changing."

There was nothing more that need to be said.
