Before I can rip their throats out, five sets of arms are holding me back, barely restraining my anger. Angrily looking around, I notice that both Jess and Nicole are being restrained as well. Havana's brother is standing protectively before one of the vampires. His small frame stands tall against me and a growl burst from my chest. How can he protect the very things that killed his mother?
"Let. Me. Go." I breathe out, looking at my pack members. They all hold fear in their eyes but refuse to release me. Unknown anger builds up and before I can take control of the situation Havana's small hands cup my face, fighting eagerly to gain my attention. My breathing slows as my eyes, slowly returning back to their normal color, focus on Havana. Her eyes, panicked, search mine as she soundlessly relaxes me.
"We will let you go but you have to make me a promise." Scoffing, my wolfs anger spikes again. How dare they try and make me, me, their alpha, listen to them while two vampires stink up my office. Again, my eyes find Havana except this time, her eyes are pooling with sorrow. Immediately I calm down, resting my forehead against hers, promising that I'll listen.
Reluctantly, they release me and finally the two vampires have my full attention. Havana's brother stands awfully close to the vampire he was protecting and anger picks at my heart. I know we have no control over who we mate with but a vampire? A fucking vampire? Havana rests her hand on my lower back, relaxing me further as the electric sparks soar through my body.
"Why are they here?" I demand in the calmest tone I can muster up. The room, quickly filling with silence, seems to have choked up all of my pack members. I repeat myself, this time directing my gaze on Santiago. Squirming under my gaze, he mumbles out a poor response.
"Babe. It's my brother." Havana adds barely above a whisper. Looking down into her eyes, every emotion in my body relaxes as I release an agitated sigh.
"Why are those damn things with him?" I ask patienlty, pointing a finger in their direction. Riley, Havana's brother, growls at my actions and I growl back. He shys away and this time the vampire has the audacity to stand up to me. Remembering the promise I made to my love, I breathe calmly before anything bad happens.
"Skylar. Listen to them. You've got to have a better temper than that." Peyton states from her position on the cough. Knowing she's right, I look the older vampire in the face and wait for her to say anything. The entire time that she's been here, she seemed to be apathetic towards everything except Jess. When she entered the room with myself her eyes immediately darted in her direction. Her silver eyes reluctantly find mine, eerily matching her hair. Her full frame was gorgeous. Her breast, full, were practically spilling out of her shirt and her jeans outlined every inch of her perfect shape.
A slight growl enters my ear as I look at Havana who is killing me with her eyes. Wrapping my arm around her, I remind her that she's still the only person that I could ever love or find attractive.
"You've met the queen of all vampires, correct?" The older one asks, her piercing eyes trained on me. Nodding my head, she smiles a blinding smile before continuing. "Well, I'm glad to introduce myself as the princess." She bows, adding affect, as the room grows quieter, if possible.
Studying her, I realize that her scent does mask the other girls whose scent is barely noticeable. She reeks of strength and those color eyes are closely associated with royalty.
"Why are you here?" She laughs at my lack of concern for her status as she slowly brushes her fingers through her hair.
"We're here to help. I've heard about your bout with your old alpha and my sister and we're here only to offer protection and information."
