There are some people that are very good at listening
They sit there and blend into the wall
Acting like they're doing nothing but truly doing everything
They have learned to listen and not talk
To respect instead of interrupt
All they do is listen all day
They're here to teach us
Silence is what we do in face of a tragedy
When a person dies, we have a moment of silence
There is no screaming at a funeral
Those who talk and those who listen,
Different, and yet the same
Those who talk are not willing to listen
Not ready to take in the knowledge those who listen have collected
Not prepared to hear the opinion of those smarter than them
But the real concern lies in those who listen
Because no matter how willing the talkers are to listen, you will rarely find someone who listens who is willing to talk
