Every time Valentines Day comes, we hear the same phrases
"I wish I had a boyfriend"
"I'm forever alone"
"I wish I could find love"
We all hear these words whether were single, taken or have a huge crush
But what do these phrases really mean?
"I wish I had a boyfriend"
A boyfriend is someone you like, maybe love but to be single is not to be alone
You don't need a boyfriend to buy you candy
If you want candy buy some yourself
You're perfect the way you are and it's foolish to wish for something your not supposed to see coming
"I'm forever alone"
No your not.
In the few years that guys have started being attracted to girls, you didn't find the right one
Sometimes the best love is the one that you find when your about to die and you have someone to hold your hand
You're young and free and beautiful, no matter how old you are and to be trapped down by somebody that you most likely won't stick with is foolish
You don't need that.
You have so much more to offer the world than a hot boyfriend
"I wish I could find love"
Look around you.
Open your eyes, take off the shades of the stereotypical need for a boyfriend
Wishing won't do anything
We take our parents for granted, our siblings, our friends
They're more loyal than a guy will ever be
Think of what's really out there
Help your eyes reach past the face of a boy
Look forward to your future, so bright that when you try to look it blinds you, so you never know what's going to happen next
You don't need a boyfriend for Valentines Day
It's all about love, how about loving yourself?
Nobody has thought of loving yourself on Valentines Day
Get dressed up, look in the mirror and say "I love myself, I am perfect, I was made for a purpose"
Take time to appreciate the gifts that God has given you
Look around at what you have instead of daydreaming about what you want
Look around you, don't waste time staring off into space, don't miss what you have while you're wishing for more
Ignore the stereotypes
You don't need a boyfriend
You're not alone
You are loved
Before you love anyone else, learn to love yourself
Happy International Women's day<3
