Dreams of Paris,
Dreams of hope...
With all these dreams,
How can I cope?
When reality settles in,
And I realize how life goes.
Dream are not always fulfilled,
That's just the way that dreams' blows.
Dream of Paris,
Dreams to be real...
But surreal aspects slither in -
You should be working for a meal.
Dancing in dreams build up,
Looking for night-time to never stop.
Believing you can be royalty,
When you're destined to be a cop.
Dreams of Paris,
Smoking on the Eiffel tower.
Reality will open your eyes,
To show you, you have no real power.
