Staring into outer space,
Twinkle lights and shooting stars.
Still remain a mystery,
As I'm hearing roaring cars.
The city lights,
Here from afar.
Roaring past,
Glitzing like a speeding car.
Documented in my diary,
The planets that I've seen.
All replaced by memories,
By movies on a screen.
A little boy of wonder,
Just looking at the sun.
Feels like burning underneath,
He decides to run.
A whole girl – country grown,
Settles in a field of corn.
Mesmerized by a rocket ship,
A whole new world is born.

Emotional Amnesia
PoetrySometimes when I say "I'm okay", I want someone to look me in the eyes, hug me tight and say, "I know you're not". I have felt like this many times in my life; as a kid, teenager and as an adult. I have seen many things in my life and felt even more...
