I don't know why you're crying,
But I know the feeling well.
Where you want to curl up in a ball,
Knowing that you fell.
I know feelings of loss,
From where he went away.
I know about guilty feelings,
About not doing enough so he could stay.
I know of happy moments,
That now causes you those tears.
I know about those smiling photo's,
Which has now become your fears.
I know about hiding in darkness,
So that you cannot see.
Of the memories that linger,
And the things that cannot be.
I don't know why you're crying,
But I'll take a wild guess now.
You cry because life isn't fair,
Constantly breaking a vow...
