All that's done is in the past.
Here I am, walking back,
Into yesterday at last.
I hear: Happy New Year,
Champagne glasses clinking.

Time to leave the old behind.
But here I am, walking back,
To ancient memories in time.
The breakthrough just won't come,
I am stuck with long past ties.
Hopefully I will break them,
Sit with love and without cries.
