Sudden Realization,
As he's sitting next to me.
His arm rubbing against mine,
Is the most we will ever be.
He sees me like that,
Just a friend from the past.
Revisiting old memories,
Secrets coming out at last.
We sneak a peek,
And I know what's on your mind.
All the carefree days,
Where we could just unwind.
Laughter and tears,
Whilst waiting for dawn.
Full moon nights,
Out back on the lawn.
Sudden realization,
Had I sooner spoke.
He would've been mine,
My loving loyal bloke.
