Journey Away From You

10 4 3

As trees falsh by,

I know it's true.

I'm going back home,

Fleeing from you.

The time we spent,

I will cherish in my heart.

But you moved on,

And I have to make a start.

I came to you,

To convince myself it's over.

But I kept waiting for my wish,

From an old lost lucky clover.

Seeing you with him,

Was way to much to bare.

So I am saying goodbye,

Retreating from your stare.

I'm going home for now,

Just going to be alone.

Maybe this time I will get it right,

And turn my heart to stone.
