Chapter Four: The Battle for Center
The next day came quickly, I had no problem getting started today because I was actually looking forward to the filming today. There was going to be a competition between the A level to see who will perform center for the title song.
Seeing as dancing was one of my favorite things in the world I was definitely looking forward to seeing what each boy has to offer. There was something about the way that dance can look so effortless when still being difficult that was able to capture an audience. Each of the boys came from a different background so I was sure that it would be interesting to see what everyone could do.
The ride to the studio was starting to get a little bit more boring the more I rode it but I knew the studio would always be new and interesting. "Listen I have to go get my kid to and from school, so I'll see you after filming," Tim told me when he dropped me off.
I paused for a second not even knowing he had a kid before nodding and heading into the building. The boys were staying right next door so they were all able to pretty much roll out of bed and be ready to face the day. For the rest of us, the trainers we had to be here early for hair and makeup so that we would look good for the filming.
I never complained though because I hated to do my make-up myself but I loved the way I looked when I had it on. So if someone did it for me I was more than thrilled to get up early for that.
The same person was doing both my hair and make-up she had also been the one who had done it the last couple of days as well. She was extremely skilled and I was hoping she would make it onto bigger projects when this was all done. She was adorable too, only coming up to my chin and fawning over me keeping me engaged while working on my face.
"Your good to go," she said stepping back admiring her work.
"Thank you so much," I said bowing to her, and fallowing one of the stage crew to the set that we would be filming on today.
Once we were all in the room, the boys started arriving heading to there section based on the color of there shirt. A little while before the filming actually started a girl walked out shocking me slightly it was Yoonjung. One of my members from producer 101 was here and she didn't even tell me that she was coming.
Locking eyes we boy gave smiles and ran over to each other wrapping our arms around each other hugging tightly. Ever since I left for America I hadn't talked to any of them that much because of the time difference.
"Why didn't you tell me you were coming," I asked.
"Well, I wanted it to be a surprise. Surprise" she said causing us both to laugh.
A couple of the judges surrounded us saying hello to my friend. Kahi hugged both of us as she couched us to where we were today.
"It's great to see you guys making progress," she said giving us both smiles.
By the time we turned back to the rest of the room, the stands had been filled with the boys of the second season. She had been a grade D while I was a grade B and it was so cool to see where we all started.
She was here to just add excitement to the show and show the boys where they could be when they debut. The group surprised me when lower levels started coming out showing the freestyle dancing that some people only wished to be able to do. The boys seemed to let loose and move however they wanted to for a couple of minutes before the announcement was made.
"This one I like" I whispered to Yoojung when Ong moved out starting his popping that he did when he danced.
"He's good," she said both of our eyes trained on the boy.
