Chapter Eleven: Sightseeing
There was no way that I would ever be as happy as I was at this exact moment. Today Ong and I were heading to the airport heading back to America and even though I was excited I was extremely nervous as well. Ong had never been to America before so I would be his guide while we were there plus I had to do a couple of interviews to do while we were there as well.
We were currently standing outside of the airport separated talking to two different camera crews about what we were about to do.
"Are you happy to be going home?" one of the PD's asked me.
I nodded, "I couldn't be happier. As much as I love Korea I am so happy to be going back to America. I have a lot of friends over there who I haven't seen in a while, and I miss them" I explained.
"And how do you feel about bringing Ong with you," the PD asked again.
"I think he is very excited and I think it would be interested to see his reaction to everything. My friends are very excited to meet him so I'm interested in seeing their reaction to this whole thing. Plus I'm taking him to a premier and I'm really interested in seeing how all of this is going to play out" I said.
"Well we don't want to keep you longer, of course, we will be following your steps but we still want to wish you luck," the PD said giving me a kind smile.
Ong and were left to head to our flight both with smiles on our faces as we went. The flight was a long one so I hoped that we would be okay throughout the whole thing. I don't know how often he flew so I didn't know how he would be affected by the flight. Though the great thing about being somewhat famous meant we were able to fly first class.
The airport was filled with plenty of people who seemed to recognize us and stared and even pointed as we walked past. "I'm never going to get used to that," I said after a group of fans had taken photos with us.
"I love the fans there the reason we live how we do," he told me.
I smiled "the fans are great but sometimes they can be a bit much. It's weird to be recognized like this again" I said. It seemed as we walked more people recognized us but nobody else approached as we made our way to our flight.
There was an interesting mix of people that were gathered at the terminal for our flight. Both Korean and Americans sitting intermixed speaking in their own languages. "Are you recognized in America?" Ong asked as we took a seat waiting for our flight to be called.
"Not often but there are always fans everywhere so sometimes. I think you'll get recognized more than I am over there" I said knowing that boy bands were more famous than the females. I didn't mind though I liked that I was constantly mobbed in America so I wasn't going to argue about it.
"I am very excited to so how all of this is going to be," he said with a huge smile on his face.
"And I'm excited to watch you try to act in America," I said guessing that it would be interesting to watch him. Ong pouted slightly noting that was waiting for him to make some sort of mistake.
We sat for a little bit waiting for our gate to be called so that we could finally board the plain. And soon enough we were on the plain in our seats getting settled for the very long flight we had ahead of us. We got quite a bit of staring from passengers and a couple of squeals from a couple of girls who passed us. Ong laughed under his breath and flashed them a smile causing another round of sequels to take place.
"So what do we do all flight," Ong asked.
I gave him a smile expecting him to get a little antsy throughout the flight. "I'll sleep through most of it. Practically trained myself to be able to sleep throughout long flights" I told him.
