Chapter Twenty-Two: Breaking Up
Okay, we are skipping to the Olympics in this chapter, I'm going to be naming a lot of people manly ice skaters from the USA team. I wanted to show how Hana sort of became an Asian hero being one of the first big Asian names on American stages, and how she is still talked about even though she moved to Korea. The people I will be mentioning are Nathan Chen, ...
"Oh look at you," I said messing with Kai's collar loving the shirt that he was wearing for this performance. "Now remember the entire world is watching including both of our parents," I said letting my hand roll over his shoulder.
"Jeez Haha you really know how to encourage someone," he said with a small smile.
"I'm sorry I'm just nervous," I said.
Kai raised one of his eyebrows and said, "Hana I'm literally going to be on stage in front of billions of people" he said.
"Yes but it's my dance," I told him with a small smile.
He rolled his eyes but went back to the rest of the boys who were all super hyper for obvious reasons. It was really a sight to see, and I couldn't really believe what these 9 boys were about to do.
"Alright good luck boys and remember it's only the rest of your life," I said giving the group a smile as they left the room.
I was allowed to watch the whole ceremony from a special viewing space along with some other entertainers. This was going to truly be an amazing day I would be witnessing South Korea and North Korea walking the entrance ceremony together which was groundbreaking. Truly it was the perfect time to be in Korean and I got to experience everything from right behind the stage.
This really puts EXO on the map for being the world's best kpop band and I couldn't be more excited for them. My mind was all over the place though thinking about Kai and Ong, my contract with SM ended in three weeks and I had yet to figure out if I really wanted to date kai or if I wanted to try with Ong. Wanna One still had almost a full year left before their contract ended and I was still nervous about being with him while he was in the group.
What SM told me about my name becoming more popular was clear about the number of calls I received from companies. I was getting offers faster than I could make a schedule which meant I was extremely busy most days.
The boys did amazing as I watched them and the crowd seemed to really enjoy the music most of them dancing in there seats. All of Korea knew who EXO was but for those visiting from other countries, this was a treat. Though the boys had performed in front of others before nothing could prepare them for the audience they were performing for right now.
"Oh my god," I said as the boys came back through the tunnel each with a huge smile on there faces.
I couldn't stop myself from jumping into Kai's arm shocking the boy but only for a moment before he hung me back. "I can't believe we just did that," Kai said as we separated.
There was a ton of energy in the air from the boys as they talked excitedly between each other. "Look," I said pointing back out causing the boys to gather around the entrance watching as the famous Korean ice skater, Yuna Kim performed for the torch lighting.
After the ceremony ended the spectators slowly exited the building while the athletes made there way down to the stage area. There was going to be a huge dance thing for the athletes so that they could socialize with other athletes and meet other people. Because EXO was such a big name and everybody knew them they were invited to stay and Kai made sure I stayed with them. There was a lot of athletes here, but EXO still managed to stand out.
