The song used is the Glee version because that version has more emotion than the original.

"Why are we singing this again?" Blaine asked as Wes passed out the sheet music.

"Because there's a special guest and I wanted to sing to them." Wes explained like it was the most obvious thing in the world as he gave the last person there music.

"Who's the special guest?" Nick asked with a smirk and wiggled his eyebrows suggestively, "Someone special?"

"You could say that." Wes said casually with a shrug. "Um, I'm going to be singing lead. Sorry Blaine. You guys come in at the chorus, got it?"

The boys all looked at each other in confusion, why were they singing if the guest wasn't even here yet? They shook of their confusion, not wanting to make Wes upset.

After a couple of seconds, a piano started playing and Wes started singing.

The Warblers raised their eyebrows at how into the song Wes was. He was literally on the verge of tears.

There was a small pause and all the Warblers looked at the boy with sympathy as Wes sang the last part by himself.

As the music stopped Wes closed his eyes, "Thank you." He said quietly before loosing it completely.

All the Warblers jumped up to comfort their leader and friend but David was first, "Hey, whats wrong?" He asked quietly, bring his boyfriend close to him.

"V-Veronica. S-she had to get fixed today." He said in between tears.

All the Warblers, except Blaine and David, groaned quietly and rolled their eyes before sitting back on the couch. "Who's Veronica?" Blaine asked with furrowed eyebrows.

"His gavel." Jeff answered in an annoyed tone.

"He's crying... because of a gavel?" Blaine said in an exasperated tone.

Jeff nodded, "He uses it so much that it breaks and he has to get it fixed. As you can see he gets very emotional."

Blaine just stared at Wes and David shaking his head. He then noticed that David was beckoning all of them over mouthing, "Be nice and come comfort him." All the Warblers groaned again as they got up and went to comfort Wes, trying not to laugh.

Yes, I just wrote a one shot where Wes sings to a gavel. Stop hating.
