AU where Sebastian became friends with Kurt and didn't go to Dalton.

"Your boyfriends insane," Sebastian says as he sits cross legged on the Hummel-Hudson couch.

"Tell me about it." Kurt laughs with a shake of his head, taking a sip of his tea as he flagged a page in the Vogue magazine that was in his lap. "He knows he's going to get sick if he ate anymore and yet, he still does it. I guess the throwing up later will be punishment enough."

That gets a laugh out of Sebastian as he picks up the remote and changes the current sappy Lifetime movie to a hockey game. "So I guess you two are doing good?"

"Better than good. Great even." the brunette answers and Sebastian can see the grin that's on his friends lips. It's bright and hopeful and ugh, it makes him sick.

Not that he has anything against Blaine. No, the kids great; smart, funny, and makes Kurt immensely happy, which is great. But he just doesn't see it going anywhere.

And no, he's not bitter because he met Kurt first and became friends with him first and that apparently meant nothing when a gel helmet wearing hobbit just pops up out of nowhere, confesses his love, and now, Sebastian's second? How the hell does that work?

But that didn't matter. Nope, his friend was happy and that's all that mattered. Or so he tells himself everyday when he wakes up.

"Sebastian?" a voice calls and knocks him out of his haze. He looks up and sees Kurt looking at him with concern.

"You okay?" he asks. "I was calling your name a couple times."

"I'm fine," the taller male smiles, turning his gaze to the men bashing each other on ice. What a time passer. "What were you saying?"

Kurt eyed him suspiciously before answering his question. "Before Blaine left to surely puke his guts out on the side of the road, he asked if you wanted to come with us to the movies tomorrow."

The movies? With Klaine? Not a good choice. They end up just making out halfway through the movie, quarter of the way if it's a bad one, which usually left Sebastian in the awkward situation of sitting next to it and getting them out when the movie was over.

But despite all of these reasons, he asked, "What were you guys planning on seeing?"

"'A Star is Born' starring one Lady Gaga." the shorter boy smiled, clearly glad he scored tickets to see his icon on the big screen. Maybe they wouldn't make out this time.

"Alright," Sebastian shrugged. Making it not seem like no big deal. "Sounds cool. I've been wanting to see that."

Kurt clapped his hands happily and scooted so his head dropped onto his friends shoulder. "Yay! Can't wait."

He just smiled and nodded, trying to ignore the smell of Kurt's vanilla shampoo and shay butter cream lotion, it was intoxicating.

Eventually, Kurt fell asleep in that position and if Sebastian pressed a small kiss to the boy's forehead, well that would be his little secret.

"He broke up with me."

Sebastian swore he never heard 5 more beautiful words uttered on the face of the planet.

"Um, what? What happened?" Sebastian asked, opening his front door and ushered a hysteric Kurt inside; shutting the door behind him.

"He broke up with me." Kurt stated again, voiced choked up and it made Sebastian's heart break but happy at the same time. Boy was he going to hell.

"Blaine?"

"No, my secret boyfriend Tom Holland, yes, Blaine!" he shrieked, stomping into the living room and falling face first into the cushions of the couch. Sebastian was going to tell him to keep it down but then he remembered that his parents weren't home, granted, his parents were never really home.

"Alright, alright, just walk me through what happened." he soothed, knelling next to the couch and running a hand up and down the other boys back.

"I don't even know! One second we were having coffee and laughing and the next thing I know, we're talking about New York and separating!" Kurt sobbed, face coming up barely so he can be heard at least a bit.

"Oh Kurt. . ."

"And the worst part was, he was crying just as much as I was! Like he didn't want to do it but he did it anyway."

"Well, maybe he isn't up for a long distance thing?" Sebastian tried to figure out, "It's not for some people."

"I could've sworn he was the one though," Kurt sighed, now on his side and dabbing at his eyes with the sleeve of his sweater. "We talked about growing old together and what our kids names are gonna be. . .we were soulmates, Seb."

Sebastian was silent as he played with the fabric that he was running his fingers up and down. Deep down, deep deep down, he knew that Kurt and Blaine were maybe right for each other. But he loved the boy in front of him so much that he wanted to ignore that feeling.

"If you positively, one hundred percent,  think that you guys are soulmates," he took a deep breath in, "Then fate'll do its thing."

That, right there, should be his ticket out of hell.

"You think?" Kurt asked hopefully, his voice small and for the first time since Kurt arrived, he smiled that beautiful smile.

"I know so," Sebastian smiled back, "But in the meantime, you have me. I'm not going anywhere and when you're a huge star on Broadway or a Vogue super-stylist, I'll be there in the front row; cheering you on."

Kurt cried once more, what Sebastian hoped were grateful tears, and threw himself at the other boy; making him kneel fully on the floor but holding him steadily.

"I love you, Sebastian Smythe."

A deep inhale. "I love you too, Kurt Hummel." You have no idea how much.

And truly, he didn't.

phew, that's another one off the list!

also, someone send help cuz i'm not supposed to ship these two beans but deep down i am. . . ahhhh!!

they're a guilty pleasure ship. . . that's good enough.

i kinda felt bad for Seb in this one though :/ (i'm pretty sure i'm not supped to talk about my own work, oops)
