Pink (Samcedes)

*gasps* What's this? A straight couple?! I haven't made one of these in forever lol.

Mercedes was never a fan of the color pink.

In her opinion it was to frilly and represented princess and fairies which wasn't really her style.

She preferred red. A color that represented the red carpet, or the color of her dress when she accepts her best music of the year award.

But right now, as she looked at the stick on the counter, there were only two colors.

Blue and pink.

And right now, she kind of really liked the color blue.

"Mercedes?" Sam's muffled voice came from outside the bathroom door, breaking her away from her thoughts. "You okay? You looked like you were about to puke."

She did puke. But he didn't need to know that.

"I'm fine, Sam." She called back, clutching her stomach as she scooted away from the toilet and leaned against the tub. "Probably just had some bad tots."

That seemed to satisfy her fiancé. "Oh okay. . .do you want me to come in? I can get you some water."

"No!" Mercedes exclaimed quickly then realized how suspicious she sounded. "I mean." She said more calmly as she cleared her throat. "I'm fine, honestly. Why don't you go pick out a movie and make some popcorn and I'll be out in a bit to cuddle."she suggested.

She heard Sam gasp in excitement. "Ooo, can I pick a Morgan Freeman movie to do an impression?!" He asked and Mercedes could hear the smile on his face and she actually felt somewhat better at that.

She chuckled slightly. "Sure, Sam. Sounds good."

"Whoop!" He cheered and she heard him clap his hands together. "Make sure to hurrryyy." He urged as he tapped the door slightly. "Love you!" He said and she heard his footsteps fade from the bedroom into the hallway.

She breathed a sigh of relief and waited a couple of seconds to make sure he stayed downstairs before standing up and reaching out to grab the stick.

She's been having nausea and vomiting a lot in the past month and when Kurt noticed, he immediately told her to go get a pregnancy test or schedule a doctors appointment.

Of course she chose the pregnancy test.

And now here she was.

About to determine one of the most important thing of her life.

She took a deep breath, looked at it and gasped.

Two lines.

And the color?

Pink.

"Oh there you are. I was just going to knock again." Sam said as he looked back down at two DVD's in his hands. "I didn't know if you wanted to watch-"

"Sam." Mercedes interrupted quietly as she held the stick up higher.

"Yeah?" He said, looking up at her and tilting his head, eyes widening as he saw the thing in her hands. "Is that a. . ."

"I'm pregnant." She blurted out.

The blondes eyes widened more, if possible, as he put the movies down and walked over to his fiancé, putting his hands on both her arms. "Really?" He asked as he met her eyes.

She nodded and showed him the test. "I'll probably have to get a professional test done to be 100% sure, but as far we I know. I'm pregnant."

Sam stared at her for a couple of seconds before attacking the divas face with tiny kisses. On her cheeks, nose, forehead. "We're going to have a baby. An actual human baby." He said in between peppering kisses.

Mercedes giggled and put both her hands on his cheeks to get him to stop. Once she calmed him down, Mercedes put a serious look on her face. "Do you want to do this with me? Having a baby is going to be hard work and take a lot of patience. If it's something you don't want to do then you need to tell me."

Sam looked at her like she had three heads.

"Are you crazy? Of course I want to have a baby with you. We're getting married and I couldn't be more happy. I want the baby, I want the wedding I want you. I'll the most responsible person you can imagine, promise." He said as he held out his pinkie.

Mercedes grinned as she hooked her pinkie with his. "You're amazing and I'm glad we're engaged."

"You're more amazing and I'm even more glad we're engaged." Sam argued playfully as he put a swift kiss to her lips.

She kept her grin as San picked a movie and they cuddled while eating popcorn.

Maybe pink wasn't so bad.

So I know nothing about pregnancy tests and google was given me a million different answers so I apologize if I got that wrong.
