Lol this time Finn's actually in the one shot. Takes place in the same universe as the other Fory one.

                                • • •

So Rory eventually told Finn how he felt.

Okay, that's a lie. All the girls and Kurt told him.

But at least now Finn knows.

And apparently, him and Rachel were each other beards (another story for another time) and Finn was actually gay and liked him.

So this is how Rory found himself standing nervously in front of his mirror, adjusting his tie for what felt like the hundredth time.

Kurt said to dress fashionable.

But Quinn said to just be himself.

Finn just said to dress hot, which did not make this situation any easier.

So the Irish boy just decided on a simple light blue flannel and dark jeans with black dress shoes.

He went in and out of the bathroom to fix small things until he got the text message sent from Finn that his chariot awaits him.

The boy was absolutely adorable in Rory's opinion.

He turned off all the lights in the house and locked up before walking down the porch and to the car that was parked outside his house.

"Glad to see you took my advice." Finn winked as he stepped out of the car, his hands in his pocket.

"About what?"

"Looking hot." He smirked as he motioned for him to come around the car to the passenger seat.

Rory's cheek were so red they could be mistaken for tomato's.

"Thank you?" He managed to get out as he got inside the car that Finn graciously opened.

"No problem." Finn said as he shut the door and went to the driver side and got in. "So there's two options. We can go on a dinner first date and sit there awkwardly or I can take you to the bowling alley and we can eat junk food. Totally up to you."

The shorter boy laughed. "I've never been bowling and junk food sounds amazing."

"I think is going to work." Finn smiled and started the car. "I think this is going to work really well."

               (I don't feel like writing
a car ride so here's a time skip)

"And you're sure you've never played before." Finn asked flabbergasted as he looked at the scoreboard.

"I'm pretty sure." Rory smirked as he put his ball up.

"Rory, you beat me by 100 points. I've been going here since I could walk and no one has ever beat me before." The football player cried as he followed Rory's actions and guided him towards the food bar.

"Guess I just have a god given talent. . . and an amazing, adorable teacher." Now it was Finn's turn to blush.

"Shush. I bet it's just the given talent thing." Finn mumbled. "Anyway, what would you like to eat?" He asked, changing the subject and handing the boy a menu.

"I don't know." Rory said, mesmerized by all the options and different things on one menu. "What do you normally get?"

"A bunch of different things, but I think you're too new at this for my pace. Maybe next time."

Rory mentally squealed. Next time.

"Oh yeah?" Rory asked in a 'try me' tone. "Order it and I'll impress you."

The tall boy raised his eyebrows. "You sure you want to do that? It's a lot of food. Even Puck couldn't finish it, and he could eat almost as much as me."

"Well I'm not Puck and you haven't seen me eat." He said confidently, putting the menu to the side.

"Alright. . ." Finn said. "If you're sure." He looked around and spotted a bar tender. "Stacy! Two of my usuals." He called out to the lady raised who her eyebrows but nodded.

"I'll tell you what." Finn said as he sat in one of the chairs, Rory sitting in the one next to him. "If you finish the whole entire thing and not throw up. I'll give you a surprise at the end of this date."

Rory cocked his head. "Surprise? Care to elaborate?"

"Nope." Finn shook his head. "That's for you to find out."

"Well, than. Challenge accepted."

                                    •••

"Holy shit you can eat." Finn said wide eyed as Rory daintily wiped his mouth with a napkin.

"Told you I could. You didn't believe me." Rory shrugged.

What Finn ordered was, 2 cheese fries, nachos, a burger with fries, small order of chicken wings and a medium vanilla milkshake.

How the hell was Finn not a million pounds?

Nonetheless, he finished every last crumb and sip and didn't feel like throwing up once.

"I believe you owe me a surprise." Rory reminded proudly as they left the bowling alley after much argument about who was paying, Finn of course won.

"Yeah, yeah. Come on, Irish boy. It's in the car." Finn joked with an eye roll and grabbing Rory's hand, leading him to the parking lot.

Rory smiled at the hand holding and slowly intertwining their fingers and smiled even more when he didn't pull away. "I had fun tonight." He spoke up.

"Me too. You're really awesome and I'm glad you agreed to go with me."

"I'm glad I came too." Rory smiled. "Now can I have my surprise?" He asked impatiently now that they were near the car.

"Yes, yes." Finn chuckled. "Close your eyes." He instructed.

Rory did what was asked and closed his eyes.

A couple of seconds he didn't hear anything but Finns breathing and then a pair of lips on his.

Best. Surprise. Ever
