"Move it more to the left." Rachel instructed as she pointed to the left.

Quinn sighed and did as told. "Better?" She asked as she wiped her forehead, which was sweaty from carrying their Christmas tree all over the house.

"Hmm, I liked it better when it was over there." The brunette decided as she pointed back towards the living room from their position in the hallway.

Quinn groaned loudly and sent her wife a glare. "Seriously, Rach?!"

"Love you!!"

"Yeah, whatever." Quinn mumbled as she picked up the tree again and brought it over to the living room.

"Right here. Last time, promise." She said with a bright smile as she pointed to where she wanted.

"That's what you said last time. And the time before that, and the time before that." The blonde pointed out as she set the tree down while brushing her hands on the knees of her tights.

"It's not my fault I want our first Christmas as a married couple to be perfect." Rachel defended as she went up to the tree to fix some of the branches. "The tree looks great though, great job picking it out."

Quinn smiled. "Thanks."

Rachel hummed as she finished fixing all the branches. She looked at it for a moment before clapping her hands together. "Let's make cookies! I bought some new cookie cutters that are Christmas themed. We could take them over to Kurt and Blaine's tomorrow." She suggested as she looked at the blonde pleadingly, knowing she hated baking or cooking of any kind.

Quinn gave Rachel a look. "I don't really have a choice, do I?"

"Nope." Rachel said with a grin as she dragged a reluctant Quinn into the kitchen hand and hand.

Joy to the wo-

"Shut up, Rachel!" Quinn exclaimed with a giggle as she mixed the cookie batter.

"Rude." Rachel huffed as she was cutting dough into Christmas trees and gingerbreads.

"Rude? I've been listening to you sing Christmas carols non stop for the past hour and a half. You need to find a different station."

"Or maybe you just need to get into the holiday spirit." The shorter girl argued as she went to go point a finger but ended up flinging some flour on Quinn's shirt.

The taller girl gasped as she narrowed her eyes. "It's on Rachel Barbara Berry-Fabray." She challenged.

"Wait, I didn't-"

She didn't get to finish as two eggs were being cracked on her head, giving her very bad flashbacks of sophomore year. "Baking fight!!" Rachel cried as she threw a fistful of flour at Quinn making both of them giggle and laugh.

They went like that for a bit, going around the kitchen and throwing whatever baking supplies they could find and throwing it at one another.

Eventually, their stomachs and faces hurt too much from laughing so they called a truce as they fell against the doorway of the kitchen. "We're a mess." Rachel said out of breath, as she observed both of their outfits which were covered in flour and other baking ingredients.

"I know." Quinn said as she clutched her stomach. "But I haven't laughed that hard in years, that was so much fun."

"Agreed." Rachel said as she leaned her head against the wall and looked up, smiling slightly. "Look." She said, pointing up above them.

Quinn looked where she was pointing and smiled too. "Mistletoe."

"Mhm." Rachel said as she turned to look at the other girl.

"I don't remember putting that there." Quinn hummed as she turned and put her arms around Rachel's neck, ignoring the egg shells.

"Must've been magic." Rachel mumbled as she inched closer to Quinn's face. "Merry Christmas, Q."

"Merry Christmas, Rach."

And well, you know what happens next.

I'm on a roll with the lesbian couples.
