Chapter 26 -

Alex raced down the side walk. Sprinting and almost collapsing. He had this huge ass headache. But the crying, anger, and running only made it worse.  Did He care? No. Their was only one thing on his mind and he'd rather die than not think about it. Everything is happening so fast.. why would he even try to care? He sped up more, scared to fall by the way the side walks were made, and the fact that he's dizzy out of his mind right now. But whatever it took. Alexander was ready.

As he made his way over to Johns place he heard, what seemed to be, Screaming? Yelling? And maybe a swift movement. He didn't wanna charge out of no where without assuming what was happening. And their might be some news nearby.

But, Alex didn't hesitate to peek around the corner of Johns house. Where their stood John, with James. His breath caught in his throat and he felt like throwing up. Then he could finally make out the numerous murmurs.

"Look at me! Look what I've been doing! I look like a day over one hundred!" Alexander's eyes widened at the position they were in. He bent down and tried to listen to everything. Knowing that was sorta impossible. His knees getting dirty by the mud and grass that he was placed beneath.

"That's what makes you different" James shrugged and leaned in closer to john. Alex hopped a little closer.

"I came to this school to get my education and make a better life! Not become some jerk that everyone hates!" John screamed louder and louder each time. His face was streaming with Forgivable tears. The tears of pain, hurt, and guilt. The only thing that kept running through Alex's mind, these past days, was.. is John fixable? Or is the stuff that's been jammed in his head.. permanent? Alex wants his John back. He had only known the real him for a couple weeks. Why did he have to change all a sudden?

"Johnny Johnny Johnny." James moved in closer to John and grabbed his wrist. In which John returned his affections by spitting in his face and yanking his arm back. Alex wanted to go out their. But it hasn't gotten too bad. And if it didn't get bad then he'll just listen and report. Alex isn't trying to be weird. How would this be weird ?

"Stop you hoe!"James grabbed both of Johns arms and pushed him back onto the front of the car. The sound of it only making Alex irritated. As though his heart was aching just as much as everything else that could possibly be caused by falling in a tub.

"I'm not a hoe! Y-you did this too me!" Johns voice was high pitched and he sounded terrified. Could it be possible that he's scared of himself? If Alex were to change like that, then he'd be scared.. knowing that it's not really him at all. So John must be going through a hell of a ride then.

"Look at you. Just look at yourself. You could easily die due to your condition." James scoffed."I'm so glad that you have cancer Johnny. I honestly am, and anyways,, I didn't make you do this.. you chose to."

Alexander's knuckles were turning white by now. This asshole.

That's all Alexander needed to hear before he quickly lunged at Reynolds. He pushed him to the ground and climbed on top. Punching him anywhere he could possibly reached. The sound of heavy breathing and huffs of anger.

John yelled something alex couldn't hear  and jumped back.
Blood oozing from James nose, head, and lip. But Alex didn't stop. Again, why would he? After he hurt laf and what he's doing to john? That's like forgiving someone for dying.

Everything seemed to go quite and the only thing alex could hear was the ringing in his ears. Everything around him felt soft. He felt tired. He wanted to sleep. He wanted to curl up beside someone and sleep. Forever. Everything became a blur and it was hard to see. James kicked him off but Alexander pushed him roughly into the car, breaking the window with it. That was enough to stop James, or maybe the fact that herc, laf, and Thomas came running over.

Alex stopped, bent over, and started coughing. He had no words. He didn't wanna see Johns face or talk to John. But he couldn't.. not after that. John is Ill. And he's been needing help.

John only took James advice because he knew he was dying anyways. So maybe John thought that their wasn't a use in this world if it's just going to end. Who would blame him though? But John is smarter then this. He just had a dumbass tell him how to live.

Laf came and hugged Alex and Alex hugged back. It's nice feeling the warmth and passion between someone. Alexander didn't care about James face or how messed up he looked. He also didn't care about how much he tortured John but he cared about John himself.

Is it bad enough to say that he still loved John?

Herc started walking over to James  but Alex stopped him with a swift shake.

"I-I.. I'm sorry.. I'm really s-sorry ale-" John began to say while slowly walking to Alexander. Alex looked up at him. His body was shaking and he looked scared to death. Laf, herc, and Thomas walked over to where James was. Alexander had warned them numerous times to not bother him and to just let it go. It wasn't any use. They'd just call the cops and let them handle it the professional way. Not typically.. knowing all Police officers are some what stupid in a way.

"Save it John" Alex said coldly. With that, more tears streamed down John face.

After wards James had a hella long time in dentention. With a side of O.S.S. Though Alexander knew he'd have some of that too. He didn't care because James was the reason why the 'family' school was falling apart at times.

Alexander was still holding in tears all day. John having cancer. Only having a few moments to live. And honestly Alex didn't even know how long he had. All he knew was that John should spend the rest of his life.. not regretting Things. So he spent all week staying with John and getting him places. Making him eat more and healthier. Throwing away every memory or thing James had him do. And within a few weeks John was back to the normal John.

And the crush alex had, had gotten stronger and worse, because he wouldn't ever leave Johns side. Not after what happened and never again.

Their are so many more reasons why Alexander won't leave John.

And they aren't even official yet. But it was worth it.
