Chapter- 8

Still Johns POV

I walked down the hallway With pride. A little nervous because of this crush. I suddenly stopped behind A couple of people who were made in a circle around someone. I didn't care what was going on but god forbid let me go to my class pLeAsE. I began softly shoving and saying my excuse me's to everyone I walked into. Walking side ways and every other way I could to possibly not be tardy. There's one thing I need to change. My politeness. I finally got away from the crowd and grabbed my phone out. Checking the time. 10:35. I gulped at how late I was and because my mouth was dry. I rushed to school without eating or drinking cause I was in a hurry.

It's hard not to not visit your crush everyday. Even though it's love at first sight. It doesn't exist no matter how many times people say it does. It doesn't.

I turned the corner to bump into a pîssed Alexander. His eyes looked like they had fire in them. His fist were tight and his teeth clenched.

My heart raced at how scary and dangerous he looked. God damn son.

"Sorry- Johnny have you seen Reynolds?" He asked with a hint of anger in his voice, though his voice was still sweet and slick. I gulped once more and pointed to the crowd.

"Probably over their.." I turned the same direction as Alex and he began walking over to the crowd. I followed more slowly behind him and glanced over other people's shoulders. My eyes lit up.

Alexander shoved everyone out the way and I screeched at his sudden actions. I don't like this Alexander. Whatever happened he's not happy about. I felt someone tug me in the circle, my breath hitched and I came close to Peggy. She looked pissed as well.  I looked at what people were starring at. I gasped. Laf was laying on the ground blood, trickling down his face from his head and nose. His breathing getting heavier and lower each second. My face became hot with anger as well. Alexander mentioned that 'Reynolds' guy. The one that sexually assaulted me in the locker room.  People were taking pictures and putting the news out.

"Everyone get the hell away from him before I drop you!" I heard Jefferson say. He looked as pissed as everyone who was lafayettes friend. A lot of thoughts were racing through my head.  This place seemed so full of nice and pure innocent people. Why did it just suddenly change? Before I could think anymore, everyone had left and I could finally make out, that Angie, Thomas, James, Alexander, Peggy and I had all stayed.

Just wait til' herc finds out.
"Ok someone go get a teacher now!" Peggy said, fear in her eyes. Angie was the first to oblige. She hopped up and headed for the closest classroom.

Alexander just stood there dumbfounded. His hands were still the same. And his expression on his face never did change. He was still pissed. I slowly walked over and bent over. Touching Alexander shoulder, assuring him that everything will be ok. He turned around suddenly snapped out of his daze and smiled warmly. A smile I've never seen him do before. It sent blood rushing to my face.

A teacher came by and told us to leave. I hate when they do that. He's my friend. Not yours. We have every right to be by his side. Isn't that what friends are supposed to do anyways?

Nobody said a word and we headed to our classes.
