Chapter- 16

Johns POV

Today at school was like any other day. I felt much better than i did, in fact i slept right when the crew left. Though, alexander was back to his normal self. Messing around with his friends and being loud. He seemed ok with me not wanting him. But i lied. I love alexander so much. And it'd be a dream to be with him. I felt bad because i was sick. And he probably will be sick in the near future. I hope not. Also, i didn't wanna rush things. I wanted to get to know him better.

I walked down the hallway, on my way to social studies. As i turned the corner i saw eliza and angie about to walk in. Peggy thomas and alexander walked in- in front of them. What didn't make anything better was that Laf and herc were not in this class. That sucked. It's fun to get a little cool with them. I quickly walked in remembering the tardy bell, and took a seat beside eliza and this kid named charles lee.

We learned about religion and stuff like that. My main was that gay is just loving someone and it shouldn't be something hated. I talked a little to the charles lee kid. We became friends as well. And may i say it is fun making more friends.

Someone tapped my shoulder and I glanced up to see that James Reynolds guy. My nose wrinkled in disgust and I showed no sympathy. He wants to talk shit, we'll do shit.

"Yes?" I asked crossing my arms. I'm never the one to be sassy. But I broke today.

"Your in my spot." He hissed, squinting his eyes evilly. I turned to look back and forth and turned back to him.

"Welp, guess you can get on your hands and knees for me now huh?" I asked, hearing a couple snickers from behind me. I didn't care to make anyone laugh. I liked this me.

"Excuse me?" He growled."Since when do you think your tough?" He came closer to me. I didn't flinch, nor did I move.

"Since my dick got bigger dumbass, now scram peasant!" I heard him scoff and he walked away.

After class I started walking to lunch. Peggy caught up to me and wrapped her arm around my neck and rubbed the top of my head teasingly."Wow Johnny, what was that all about?"she let go and started walking the same pace as me and I didn't bother laughing a little to myself. Things will changed. Now, or never.

"Oh just me changing things in this hell a little. Y'know?"

"Nooo I don't know.. tell me~" she said sarcastically. We got up to the doors an opened them, the outside, summer, cool air giving way, and leaving.

"Welp, things Peggy. Just things.." I smirked.

   After I got my food and sat down with the crew. Charles lee, decided to sit with me since we were officially friends now.

"Hey." He mumbled.

"Aye, where's Sammy?" I cooed and he was a blushing mess then.
"H-he's sitting somewhere e-else." He put his hands on his face and blushed even harder. Awe.

Thomas and Alexander came by with their trays. With burr and James behind, following Angie and Eliza then Peggy. I watch Alexander. He looked back at me with the same look. It wasn't hatred, or sadness. Just a 'um' look. He sat down in front of me with Jefferson and burr on each side.

"Ok Soo, track is about to start." Angie said putting her hands on either side of the table.

"Ugh! That's boring," Peggy faked sobbed."You have to find what you're good at and compete with assholes in different states! Nothing important" she put her hand on chin and groaned. I've never had interest in track or sports but I might give it a go.

"I'm doing the mile. Well, trying out for it- Thomas and I will" Alexander said while bending over to pick up his fork that fell on the ground. He placed it on the table."It's not that hard anyway" he finished rather slowly.

"Ew, Alexander!" Eliza wined burning her eyes at the fork placed before her. Burr just starred at it in disgust while looking away. And Thomas wouldn't stop laughing.

"Should I give it to someone?" He asked and looked around.

"Like anyone will eat off your fork.." James scoffed. I would've if it wasn't on the ground."That's disgusting"

"Here." I grabbed the fork and suddenly threw it a-cross the cafeteria when the teachers weren't looking. Hearing a satisfying thud and a couple of complaints.

"John?!" Angie and Eliza looked at me in shock and I just shrugged.

After a couple minutes passed it was time to leave
