Chapter-29

Johns POV

School was officially out until August. I didn't wanna think about August just yet. And I'm sure everyone who leaves for the summer, thinks about the beginning of school. But we had bigger plans this summer. It was either going to a camp with new people and tagging  our friends along. Or just go on a really amazing trip. Depends on what everyone wants to do.

Alex and I were currently sitting on the couch playing on our phones. He was on one side and I was on the other. It was May 30th and eighty-four  degrees. Not too hot and not too cold. I kinda don't like the summer, considering the fact that it gots hot and everyone will start claiming the world is ending. And do I believe it will? Yes. It the far future.

It's nice to finally be able to hang out at Alex's place when I can and want to. He's so loyal to me, and nice. He makes me feel butterflies.

I glanced up from my phone at alex, he was moving his mouth but no words came out, while typing something quickly.

I slowly lifted my leg and nudged him. He was wearing shorts and a white shirt and I was wearing shorts with a black shirt. Nice. It took me a couple more tries to get his attention. Not that I actually needed it though.

He finally glanced up from his phone and offered a reassuring smile. I smiled back, then it fell.

I sighed looking back at my phone and began typing something as well. He must have noticed my sudden moves because he stopped what he was doing and crawled over to me, kicking his phone to the ground. He straddled my hips and lied on top of me, putting his elbow on my chest and resting his head on his hand.

"John, I know somethings off.." he said. I shrugged it off and went back to my phone.

"Can we go for a ride?" I asked, not really wanting to change the subject. I just wanted to relax and being in a car is soothing and comfortable.

"I'll ask you what's wrong later then, don't think you can get out of this one John" he gave me his serious stare and then kissed me passionately. I jumped up and we went to his car. He hopped in after me and then we put on our seatbelts. Literally I wouldn't if Alexander hadn't made me in the first place.

He plugged his phone into the car and started playing this really loud rap music. What made it ten times worse is that he had amps in the back. So the car was beating every time the song did. It felt nice and irritating at the same time.

When we were five minutes on the road I almost started to drift off. I didn't want to sleep though. I grabbed Alexander's hand and glanced out the window. Pushing the seat back a little and laying back. I sighed to myself and half closed my eyes.

I feel like the luckiest person in the world. Being with Alex just feels so right. Maybe me doing all the bullshit was worth it.

I'll always love Alexander with everything I have to offer. It's kinda crazy how we got together. To me it seemed like he didn't like me. But that was just my stupidity. You know, the one James got ahold of and made me use. Ya, that.

And why was I so upset? Well, I can't get over the fact how dumb and gullible I was. I let someone take advantage of me and then shove it in my face. Every time I grow, the more I realize how stupid I was and wish I could fix it. But this isn't a story where we could make what we want to happen in it. And I can't time travel. So changing and being different is the best I can do. And as far as I know. It was definitely worth it.

"John." I glanced back at alex who looked at me and then, placing his eyes back on the road to avoid getting hit. I hummed in response.

"If anything is wrong.. you can always tell me.. I know we've been through a lot.. which is why I'm just worried about you. Y'know?" He gave me a small smile and rested his head on his arms while driving. It didn't seem to bother me. Knowing he's good at it anyways. I sat up all the way and lifted my legs in the seat, crisscrossing.

"I know Alexander Hamilton. And I love you for it"

"I love you too Johnny."

Alex  stopped the car by a gas pump. We were at Casey's but not really here for anything. I could totally piss right now though.

We made it back to Alex's place and I plopped down on his couch and groaned.

"John, it pains me to say this now that you're comfortable and shit, but we're going to Laf and hercs. And before you say anything." He said while fixing his shoes."The whole squad will be their."

"Oh my squirrel. Seriou-"

"John." Alexander said coming over to me and lifting me up by my waist.

"Alex." I said in the same tone. He kissed my nose and I buried my face in the crook of his neck. I started sucking on it and alexander  tried to pull me off.

"Seriously! John!" He groaned and I giggled.

"Come on, before you do anything else." He grabbed my hand and we made another trip to the car.
