I didn't see Marina at lunch today, I decided to find her after I eat. Today at lunch we had a beef bowl, with basil as the boost of flavoring. I ate the meal and searched for the missing Marina. I heard inklings whispering on my journey to find her. "Dude you hear? A salmonling started coming here," one pink one said. "Really? I've only seen them in salmon form, they look disgusting," Another one in blue said. They probably got that job from Mr. Grizz. That rumor spreading one. I found Marina, walking upstairs with a red haired girl. "Marina!" I called her name. Both Marina and the red haired girl whipped around to see me. "Oh, I was showing Chiyoko Yamamoto around our school. Cool thing is she's a salmonling!" Marina smiles widely. "Why don't you introduce yourself Yoko?" Yoko was really pretty. She has long red hair, her lashes were a bit too long, but still pretty. She doesn't had the normal pointy ears that octolings and inklings had. Her ears had gills instead, they were a pale magenta. Her eyes were almond shaped and black. "H-hi... m-my name is Chiyoko Y-Yamamoto," She timidly chokes on her words. "Nice to meet you, I'm Marie!" I gave her a warm smile. "S-Squid sister Marie?" Her eyes kind of lit up. "Yeah! That's me," I did the squid sister pose. "So cool!" She had a cute little smile spread across her face. I chuckle at her, she blushes in embarrassment. "Well, we better get back on our tour, so see you later Marie!" Marina waves, the two walks on the stairs and turn left. "Bye!" I said. I turn around slowly, and walked to my classroom I have after lunch. The bell rings for students to get to their classes when I sat in my seat. Students all scurried to their seats and class began. Yoko slowly walks into the classroom timidly. "So, you're the new Chiyoko Yamamoto?" The teacher looks at the salmonling with disgust. Yoko nods. "Oh, take your seat next to Marie," they point to an empty desk on my left side. She hurried to her seat. I saw everyone stare at her, like she was the new punching bag. "Ok, today is our exam," The teacher announces. Everyone sighs in the classroom, except me and Yoko. We were all handed the exam but Yoko. It was pretty easy. I gave the teacher my exam and sat back down in silence like the rest of the class.

The bell rings, I decided to help Yoko get around. "So what's the next class Yoko?" I ask. She drew her eyes to her schedule. "Inkling... l-language learning," She said. I forgot that salmonling had a different language than us. "Whli monp wahhch meowp hdow," I tried to talk in salo. She looked at me awkwardly. "Did I say it wrong?" I ask. "You said you would dunk gooey Nutella on my dog," she said. "Oh, my bad, I was trying to say let's go to that room," I said. "Oh, ok," she said. We walked to the hallway her class was at, I drop her off. I walked to mine and sit down in my seat. The teacher looks at all of us students and went on teaching.

A/N

This is the author here with an author's note. Well, I really appreciate you all reading this book and I couldn't thank you enough. Anyway I claim the salmonling language, but I don't claim the salmonling. If you played or heard of Salmon Run then you know what I'm talking about. Any who, I really love all of you who read this so far. All I can tell you is thanks and I can't wait to write the next chapter, and I already got an ending for this book in mind. So stayed toon!!
