I did realize something, that was the same night Callie disappeared. The competition ended, me and Callie waited to see the results. The cellist Satomi, waited as well with his beautiful chestnut colored cello. The light in the room reflects on the cello and at the perfect angle starts to be blinding. The judge finally came back with the list, everyone crowded around where the judge hung the paper. "Wanna look with me Cal?" I wondered. "You go ahead, I can wait here," Callie beams and held her hands behind her. I went ahead, waited for the crowd to die down. I maneuver to the list, there were exactly 50 people that went on stage. Satomi was next to me, squinting at the list. He won. "Woah... I did it!" Satomi gasps, his hand started covering his mouth with much excitement. "Congrats..." I murmur, Satomi heard me and he turn his head to my direction. Like every fan I meet, he was star struck and was blushing. "Y-... Thank you... M-Marie..." Satomi stutters. "You're welcome~" a smile creeps onto my face. "N-Nice talking to you..." Satomi in a flash vanished.
I turn to Callie's direction, there was a crowd surrounding her. "OMG it's Callie! You're like... our favorite squid sister!" The crowd all over kept screeching at her. Callie was nervously laughing, talking to everyone. "Yeah! Totally better than Marie!" They kept fangirling and fanboying. I'm used to comments like that, I knew people liked her better than me. I can't change people's opinion. "Wow Callie! I never knew you were into classical! That makes me like you even MORE!" One girl said drooling. "Ahhhhahah, Yeah I guess..." Callie looked overwhelmed. "Callie~" I call from a far to save her. "Hiya Marie!" Callie pushes through the crowd and hugs me. Callie's obsessive fans turn over to us. "There goes Marie ruining the day as always," one fan scoffs at me. "Ahh... please be nice to Marie," Callie brushes them off for me. "Well it's true," the same fan cringes looking straight at me. "Well... me and Marie have to go, but nice talking to you guys!" Callie blows a kiss. Like Ebola it spread to all do her fans and made everyone fall to their knees and fangirl and fanboy even more.
"Marie I'm so sorry for the mean comments people said about you," Callie sighs. "I'm used to it. I can't change people's opinion of who they like better, just how it works," I explain. "Plus, you don't need to apologize. None of this is your fault." "I just... I don't know. I don't want people to hurt you and bring you down," Callie shrugs. "Cal, it's okay. I know how to deal with it. And I already know why they hate me," I went off. "What did you do this time?" Callie jokes, but also was serious. "I won the final Splatfest, and they don't like that because you didn't," I reply. "Please don't remind me of that failure, you deserve all of that," Callie tells me. "We all know you do, you're the most sweetest and nicest person I know, a lot of people aren't as great as you," I compliment. Callie didn't say anything after that, but I saw that smile of hers. We were silent the whole way back.
Me and Callie went to our rooms to slip into our newly washed covers. My eyes shut slowly, slowly lulling to sleep. I started dreaming. We were in a stadium, everywhere was cheering and screaming. I was in my show clothes, holding my charger. Someone in new agent gear was down below battling this new machine containing... the great Zapfish. Music was playing from it too, not DJ Octavio's lame dj skills. It was a familiar tune, a bubbly sound with a sweet voice like Callie's. It first shows a new look of Octavio, then the Zapfish, to the new agent with a new squid haircut, and someone, turning towards me.
"I t o l d y o u t o l e a v e."
In a instant I woke up in my bed, panting. I sigh in relief that it was all a dream. I was so scared I started crying. I got out of bed and slowly walked to Callie's room. There were eerie creaks every time I took another step. Tears kept steaming down, damping my quaking hands. I place my ear to the door, there were whispers in her room. "Hurry... she's gonna wake up!" One voice whispers. "It's harder than it looks!" The other one growls. I burst into her room, I didn't see anyone. I looked around the room, no one in the closet, under the bed, or in the bed. There was no Callie. The room began to chill me, she's gone. A burst of wind brushes off my skin, the window was open. Her curtains swaying in the direction. I walked towards the window, my right hand onto the window seal. I broke down and cried harder, it's like she was dead. It hurt so bad. The feeling when your loved one disappears. It felt like someone cut out a chunk of my heart and chucked it out the window hitting someone homeless. I cried so hard my throat was really sore.
But nothing hurt worse, than Callie disappearing.

As the song was finished, I started sobbing. Grandpa looks over to me. "What's wrong kiddo?" He rubs my back. "Nothing... just that-... that song just reminded me of something when you were with Hana..." I explained. "Was it when Callie disappeared?" Grandpa asks. "Yeah..." I sniffle, using my sleeve to wipe off my tears. "... How is Hana anyway?" "I haven't spoke to her since... never mind I'll tell you later," Grandpa lets the subject slip away. It's been two years since I ever heard from Hanako, Agent 3.
We made it to the bar I sing at. "This place is good at this time," Grandpa gets really excited. "I bet..." I fake a smile. Koro's dad is in there... I started feeling that feeling with Callie disappeared, and more stressed. "You good Marie?" Grandpa looks at me. "Yeah... I'm good," I nod. We walked into the bar, the piano was being played. I didn't look at who was, but she was singing A Million Reasons by Lady Gaga. Her voice wasn't high, but was broad and classical. "Ah! Marie darling~" Asahi cheers with joy. "Hey..." I wave awkwardly. I turn behind me, Sayuri was the one playing and singing. Her eyes widen when she saw me and she ran tot he back room.
