Better Times || A Splatoon Story

Day XI Hour 11

All of us students were in class, waiting to get out and eat some delicious lunch. Weirdly, I haven't seen Satomi at all today. I was thinking about him too much, I wished I never even yelled at him...

The bell rang for us to eat, maybe I can find him in the lunch room. I met up with Pearl and Marina, still keeping my eye out for Satomi. The three of us walked to get our bento we packed, the school lunch line was too long to wait for. Now, I'm starting to bring my bento everyday. I made my own ride balls with some of that spicy pork Grandpa made three days ago. It still had its delicious flavor, just dancing with the shrimp juice and spices. He always made them perfect. Eating, I still didn't see any sight of Satomi, which was really worrying me. My heart was throbbing, I really hope he's okay. Maybe he couldn't make it today, hopefully. I finish my food, putting it back. "I'll be back, I need to do something," I excuse myself from the lunch table, walking away vastly. I need to know if he's here or not. Small groups of students huddled in each part of the hallway, just talking. "So... did you hear about that green inkling? That cousins of... you know," I heard a inkling girl whisper. "Satomi? What about him?" An inkling boy asks weirded out. "He's gonna jump off the school rooftop, I heard he's so heartbroken from a dumb girl he wants to kill himself so he doesn't have to bear the pain," the inkling girl snickers. "Satomi? Loving somebody? That's a new one," the inkling snorts. "He's gonna do it right about now, don't tell anyone I told you this."

"After all, it was Koro who told me."

Satomi... is going to kill himself because of me. My heard drops, my whole body was stiff. I'm such a terrible person... what have I done? My body reacts by staring to running into every classroom, Hall, and stairway to find him. I checked everywhere. No sight of Satomi. Tears spilled out of my eyes in fear. I can't lose him! Then, the stairs started creaking, and I know it was him. The stairs were far away, but I ran. I ran for all of my life to save him, he can't die. I climbed the stairs, I didn't see him anywhere. I then start to climb the stairs to the rooftop. Trembling, I walked around the rooftop, looking left or right for his existence. That's when I hear the bars quavering. I ran towards the sound, it better be Satomi. I need to stop him while I can. Because, because...

I love him...

Well... how do I put this in words...
Yeah, he might die...
This part is very important,
And I mean VERY
Anyway, sorry this is kind of short...
The next one FOR SURE will be longer
Welp lets hope he no die
