Yoko wore a black slim dress that showed all of her curves when I saw her at the station. We chatted the way there, she had her music beside her. "So... you sure you're ok? You've been really looking exhausted lately and it's worrying me," Yoko asks. "I'm fine, what fantasy are you living?" I sarcastically laughed. She shakes her head at me, I look away without a word. Me and Yoko exit the train in the subway. Inkopolis' stop was in the open unlike some other places. The purple and blue skies were above us, sprinkled with white gleaming stars. The moon was full tonight, the rare moon. It is called, "The Unusual InkOct Moon". Every 50 years, something unusual happens unexpectedly. It doesn't have to happen on the day, but on the next week. In ancient times, it was to believed that it was a warning signal. The last inkling or octoling who looks at this moon, gets the bad luck. It's all myths, it'll never happen. Grandpa would always tell us that story when we were tiny, he sure knows how to creep me and Callie out.

Me and Yoko got to the bar quickly and hardly anyone was here. Asahi beams at us when we enter. Kazuhiro was in the background, washing cups. "Ah and my two girls show up! Lovely!~" Asahi squeals walking over to us. "Hello Mr. Asahi Watanabe," Yoko waves awkwardly. "Hey," I said. "Alright, we won't start until two hours pass, why don't you chill here for a bit yeah?" Asahi ushers Yoko and I inside. I can actually take a good look at the bar now that it's open and not too crowded. Everything was giving me a club and a cozy vibe, it was kind of nice. I sit at the bar table, watching Kazu wash cups. The more I looked at Kazuhiro, the more... he reminded me of Satomi. He turns his head, staring at me. Then his whole body turns to face me. "Need something?" Kazu scowls a bit. He looked pretty ticked off today, from what happened earlier with the Deji chick. "Just sitting here, why do you ask?" I shrug. "Want a drink?" He flares his nostrils. "Hmm, I can't be drunk tonight, I'll be in front of people you know?" I chuckle. "We have things other than alcohol you..." he got a glimpse of his father eyeing him. "What would you like to drink?" Kazu rolls his eyes. "A nice, cold, fizzing, mouthwatering-" "Damnit lady just choose!" Kazu screams. "No way to talk to someone Kazu, it really hurts my feelings," I pretend to be hurt, he bought it. "I'm so sorry, but please tell me what you want!" He growls. "Coke," I flat out told him. "Kay," he got to the soft drink machine that stood next to the alcohol levers. He pours me a nice fizzing drink of coke with ice jingling inside the cup. "Here's your drink m'am," he slid the drink to my hand. "Thank you," I raise my eyebrows at him, grabbing a straw to drink it down. He huffs, turning away from me. Yoko then sits beside me. "Hey, what are tonight's sons again?" Yoko awkwardly spats to me. "On my Own and She Used to be Mine," I whispered, Yoko nods.

As the time got closer to sing in front of people, more people scurry in. Yoko and I just sat in the back room chattering away. Asahi and Kazuhiro were outside of the back room serving drinks to people. "Hey Marie, is that uh... Satomi person, your significant other?" Yoko awkwardly laughs. I don't answer quickly, but hearing his name punches me. I didn't want to think about him right now. I bet he hates me. I shake my head, I only see him as a friend. Agent 4.

It took forever until it was finally time to sing. Yoko and I walked right up on stage. "Song we will start with is She Used to be Mine from the musical Waitress!" I announce, a sea of roads waved up and down all rows. Yoko gives me a reluctant look, getting her music. She slaps the music on the stand of the piano, nodding at me. She gently presses into the keys like how the song starts. I started to sing.

It's not simple to say
Most days I don't recognize me
With these shoes and this apron
That place and its patrons
Have taken more than I gave them
It's not easy to know
I'm not anything like I used to be, although it's true
I was never attention's sweet center
I still remembered that girl

She's imperfect, but she tries
She is good, but she lies
She is hard on herself
She is broken, but won't ask for help
She is messy, but she's kind
She is lonely, most of the time
She is all of this mixed up, and baked into a beautiful pie
She is gone, but she used to be mine

It's not what I asked for
Sometimes life just slips in through the back door
And carved out a person and makes you believe it's all true
And now I've got you
You're not what I asked for
If I'm honest I know, I would give it all back
For a chance to start over and rewrite an ending or two
For the girl that I knew

Who is reckless, just enough
Who'll get hurt, but knows how to toughen up
When she's bruised, and gets used from a man who can't love
And then she'll get stuck
And be scared for the life that's inside her
Growing stronger each day 'til t finally reminds her
To fight just a little, and to bring back the fire in her eyes
That's been gone, but she used to be mine

She is messy, but she's kind
She is lonely, most of the time
She is all of this mixed up, and baked into a beautiful pie...

...She is gone, but she used to me mine.
