My window was opened, the sun was shining brightly on my tired face. I groan, not wanted to get up, but my eyes were forced open. I awoke, glaring at my ceiling. That night was so much I'm still tired from it. Then a sudden, I glance at my window again. Two black ears with a long tail sat at my window sill. I look at it, it had big amber eyes. A cat. We had a mini staring contest, then it yawn and padded away. I shook my head, I'm not a big fan of cats. I like cats, just not crazy about them like Callie is. Or was I guess. But that cat, was totally different. Black fur, and amber eyes.

I look at my small closet to see what to wear today. Only things that stood out for me was my very tight black crop top and my light blue jeans. I grab them out of the closet, stripping out of my pjs and slipping into the clothes for the day. Instead of doing my signature bow, I decided to do double buns on my head. I wanted to do something new to my tentacles for a day and I like how they turned out. Starving, I walked downstairs to get me some delicious breakfast. I took pieces of bread and slip them into each whole. Waiting for it to cook in the toaster, I grab myself a plate and butter from the fridge. I also grabbed a butterknife too. The toast pops, without burning myself I grab them carefully. Spread on the butter and ate my somewhat creation of food. Grandpa stumbles into the kitchen mumbling to himself. "Morning Granda," I smile, he kept mumbling to himself. I frown, continued eating. But I'm used to it, I mean that's how I grew up with him. He glances at me. "Well morning Marie," he sighed tiredly, finally acknowledging me. "Morning..." I nod. "Planning anything today?" Grandpa asks. I shook my head, "no, why?" "I was thinking we can have a day spending time together, just hang out," he shrugs. He, never asked me this ever before, not even long ago. Maybe, we won't be distant from each other. "That would be fun," I beam brightly. "Okay, wanna just drive around for who knows what?" He pours himself coffee, popping his back. "Sure," nodding, I wash my plate I used eating my toast on. "Sweet, get in the car," he ushers me away outside. I hurried to grab my phone, then outside to his car.

The air was nice, and it was bright outside. The song birds sing in a chorale, inklings in the mansion neighborhood hardly outside. I walked to the passenger side of the car, opening it and slipping inside. Grandpa waddles to the driver's seat, slipping in and starting up the car. He backs out, making sure he didn't hit anyone or anything. And we drove out of the neighborhood. We rolled the windows down, feeling the breeze hit us. I'm glad Grandpa decided to do this, because I wouldn't of been bored the whole day. "So, Marie... what do you think we should do today?" He asks, he never asked for my opinion before. "I really don't mind what we do, I'm fine with whatever," I shrug, Grandpa grunts a little. "What would you like to do Grandpa?" "Hmm..." he thought to himself for a minute, then a mischievous grin curved on his face. "Know what I did back in my days?" He snickers. I shook my head. "I did pranks, used to be the number one prankster on the block, still am," he made himself laugh, I crack a smile. "So what you're saying, we should prank people?" I chuckle. "Duhhhh!!!" He parked on the curb by the station. "We, my grandsquid, are going to prank some people," he looked at me, wiggling his eyebrows. We both got out of the car, locking it and walking to the station. We waited for the train, riding to Inkopolis. "We are going to first buy our prancing materials! Man I haven't done this in ages," he kept rambling on about pranking, it was cute. He made a whole entire list all the way to Inkopolis.

The train has stopped, I helped Grandpa out of the train, then he dragged me to places. I guess while we were out, I bought myself a dark gray forge rain jacket thing. I put it on after paying for it, and continued helping Granpda shop.
