Callie
Dear Journal, I have no idea why but I can't stop thinking about being with the octolings. I remember when I got squidnapped Octavio knocked me out, when I woke up there was a hot pink swirled octopus on my left side of my stomach. Not only that but my wrist hurt so much, it felt like some one had cut it open with the dullest knife possible after that shoved wood chips in me. I had to take a look at my wrist maybe I just sprained it I had thought. When I turned my head and took look at my wrist it had black stiches in a zig zag line with dried blood on the ends. So I knew that I was correct someone had cut my wrist, I know it was Octavio most likely. Ever since then I would get these weird feelings like now I im craving to go back to the octolings to go back to Octavio...at least they wanted me there...

Marie
School was longer than our usual. Early in the morning I gave Yoko the songs I was singing this weekend. I walked to the music room to see Yoko waiting for me, sitting on the piano bench. "Hellooo Marie," Yoko smiles. "Hiya, shall we get started?" I said putting my stuff down. "What about your student council meeting?" Yoko asks. "All taken care of, now let's start," I said taking off my blazer and armband. "Okay, which song do you want to start with?" Yoko asks. "Let's go in order how the music is put in," I suggest. "Okay, so let's rehearse Never Enough then," she puts the music on her stand. "Okay, ready Marie?" "Yep," I did a breathing exercise and she played. I sang, but I didn't sound great. I stop all of a sudden, Yoko stops after me. "Why'd you stop?" Yoko asks kindly. "Because, I didn't sound good, so let's try again," I said in frustration. "Alright..." She said. She starts playing, I know I will be better. My dynamics were way better this time. I remembered the lyrics, but I jumbled them. I kept stopping after every mistake, and kept making them. "One last run before we have to go?" Yoko said quietly. "Yeah, one more time..." I huffed. "Ok, lets start," Yoko plays the chords again. I knew I'm not going to mess up. I remembered all the lyrics, and I sang. I didn't mess up so far. I heard footsteps stop by the door, but I didn't bother to look. I kept singing, nailing every dynamics and pitch. I sang the ending note, then whispered the last line "for me". Yoko does her last note on the piano. I look at her with tired eyes, she smiled. I caught a glance that somebody watched me. I looked at that direction, there stood Agent 4. His looked at me, with amazement, shock. My lips curve into a smile. I walk over to him, "so what's a fella like you doing stalking me chum?" I pretended to have an accent. He looks away, a bit blushing. "It's a shy one," I playfully punch his shoulder. He took it, limply. "Agent...4?" I said worriedly. He snaps back to reality. "Huh? Oh sorry Marie, just a little dazed," he awkwardly smiles. I shake my head, I went back in the room and grabbed my things. I walked out of the doors and went home.
I was thinking a bit, so far, the hospital never called me like at all. I always go, I guess they're telling me the news when I go. I guess you don't get much news when your family member is in a coma. The sun blinded me while walking home. But the weather was so nice. I had this idea that to go to the park, because when I was walking home I saw the park very empty. I would like the park to myself, so I decided to dress up as Agent 2. When I enter my house, I threw my stuff in my room and changed out of my school uniform. I then threw on my agent wear. I had to maneuver my hair into the green cap, which was really difficult. I then wipe off most of my makeup, leaving only my mascara on. I gently pulled on the straps of the mask that covers my mouth over my ears. I made sure it covered my beauty mark, that's how people know who I am. I retie my laces on my boots and yelled for grandpa, "I'm going to the park!" "Kay," he yells back. It kind of concerns me how he's never worried where I go. I step outside, it was still nice and fresh. I walked to the park, nobody still there. I paste to the swings and sat down. Me and Callie would always go here and had competition of who can swing higher. It would be me who would win that, but when we have a competition of who can slide down first, she would always win. I swing not that high. I saw that trio of the purple, pink, and blue inkling, walking into the park. "Guys, we have nothing to do since we got that traitor to leave." The pink one flips her hair. "She's right, what do we do now?" The purple one spits out her words quietly. I kept my head down, so they don't here. I got out my phone and recorded the conversation. "So... Who next?" The purple one asks in desperation. "Duh, Yoko of course," The pink one chomped on her minty gum. "But... she just barely got here," The purple said in bit of concern. "But she's perfect to get rid of! I hate those disgusting fresh water fish, they have more germs than the sea," the blue one growled. "I guess your right..." the purple one shrugs.
They started to change the subject. "So, what do you think Callie did to disappear?" The pink one now twists her gum with her fingers. "Probably went back to the octolings," The blue one shrugs. "I bet she just ditched school," The purple one said. "Use your brain for once Sayuri! I bet she finally took the advice and killed herself!" The pink one laughs like a haunting hyena. My blood boils, hotter that before. My hands grips the chains on the swing harder. The Sayuri girl whispers, "I feel like we're being watched." "Lets leave them," the blue said. They left. I end the recording. My head whipped to them, they already were slowly disappearing. The sun started to set, I wanted a better view so I climbed on the playground tops. I swung my legs, and sat to watch the sunset.
During the last half of the set, these kids started pulling my leg from the playground. They did one last pull, I lost it, and was going to jump in, but instead I fell sideways. This was going to hurt, I bet I'll get broken bones. I closed my eyes shut, waiting for the pain. But, I fell on something else.
