I Need You(Vikings-Hvitserk Ragnarsson:Part 4)

*Selby's pov*

Things were slowly getting better the guys have since taken York...but things weren't all that great there was a unspoken hostility between the brothers but I couldn't quite place it...even more now with Hvitserk and I trying to have a baby...I sighed deeply as I over looked the city jumping when a hand touched my arm "Ubbe don't do that."

Ubbe chuckled "Sorry you seem deep in thought Selby."

I nodded "Just thinking...I miss home a little...oart if me wishes this was all just a horrible dream that I'll wake up and we'll be back in Kattegat and everyone was still alive.."

He nodded "Me too..."

I sighed "Hvitserk is so excited about us starting a family I'm terrified."

Ubbe raised an eyebrow "Don't you want children?"

I nodded "Of course I do...I'm just worried where this is heading I don't blame Ivar for wanting revenge I would too but it's starting to worry me how much he wants it and the thought of bring a child into that scares me."

He nodded "I understand but I highly doubt Ivar would ever allow any harm to come to you in any way."

I nodded slightly "I hope you're right Ubbe I really do."

Ubbe nodded as we walked back "Plus we both know Hvitserk would never let anything happen to you even if it's Ivar."

I nodded "I know."

He smiled "Plus I'm really excited about having a niece or nephew to spoil..."

I smiled "Soon enough."

Ubbe smiled "Are you?"

I shrugged "Can't be sure yet but we're pretty sure."

He nodded "Good...you know Hvitserk told me about the miscarriage why did you keep such a thing to yourself?"

I sighed "It was something I wasn't expecting to be told I thought it was normal until I realized it wasn't...after the healer told me what had happened I needed time to process it myself how I lost something that I didn't even know was there...and I was afraid something I had done was going to prevent me from giving my husband children so I saw the Seer...then I went to Hvitserk."

Ubbe nodded "So the Seer said you will have children?"

I nodded "3 sons and a daughter."

He chuckled "No wonder he is so anxious to get you with child."

I laughed "It is one of his favorite activities..sex."

Ubbe laughed "Right."

I smiled as Hvitserk walked up "Hey you."

Hvitserk leaned down pressing a kiss to my lips "Where were you two?"

He nodded "I went for a walk and found Selby looking over the land so we walked back together."

He nodded "All okay?"

I smiled "Yep...just needed a little peace and quiet away from all this insanity."

Hvitserk nodded "How you feeling?"

I shrugged "The same.."

He tilted my head up slightly "Sick?"

I shook my head "Tired."

Hvitserk nodded "I'd feel much better if you went to see the healer...even if you aren't with child something is making you this tired."

Ubbe chuckled "Give her rest brother she'll fall pregnant soon enough let the Gods decide..she is human after all."

He looked down at me with a smile "I suppose I've been a bit much lately and I apologize dear wife.."
