Strength In Love(Vikings-Ivar the Boneless:Part 1){Modern Day}

*Kari' s pov*

I met Ivar when we were small children our mothers were friends and our fathers had become buisness partners I became instant friends with their sons...by the time we started high school the relationship between Ivar and me changed he became far more protective especially when I started dating...when I had my first real heartbreak I ran to him before I did anyone else...when my mother died and my father left I lived with Bjorn and Torvi to finish school...by the time our Junior prom rolled around Ivar and I decided to become more than just friends..after graduation while he went straight to work for his father I went to college at KU..we even got an apartment together so we had privacy...I stood in out kitchen finishing up a class project dressed in pajamas which was a tank top and short sleep shorts my hair pulled up messily I sipped on my coffee...I smiled as I felt a pair of arms wrap around my waist and a kiss pressed to my neck "Morning."

Ivar grumbled "How long have you been up?"

I shrugged "A couple hours...I had to get this finished since someone decided no work was going to be done yesterday."

He nodded "Is it done now?"

I nodded as I sent it to my professor "It is now."

Ivar pressed a kiss to my shoulder "So can we go back to bed?"

I turned facing him "I have class at 11 Ivar...and you have work."

He shrugged "Meetings they don't need me for that...so I can stay in bed this morning having earth shattering sex with my incredibly hot girlfriend.."

I laughed softly "My Ivar Lothbrok don't you just have a way with words."

Ivar chuckled "I can be.."

I wrapped my arms around his neck "You think you can have me completely satisfied before I have to shower and get ready?"

He grinned "I'm up for the challenge."

I laughed as he picked me up throwing me over his shoulder "Do not drop me.."

Ivar dropped me on the bed the crawled over settling between my thighs "I love you.."

I smiled "I love you."

He captured my lips with his for a heated kiss....the moment was ruined as his phone began to ring..he groaned "Ignore it."

I nodded "Whatever you say.."

Ivar moved down my neck growling as his phone started ringing again "Son of a bitch I'm trying to fuck!"

I laughed "Answer it so they'll stop."

He groaned as he rolled over answering his cell "This better be good."

I sighed deeply watching his back as he talked on the phone

Ivar sighed "Fuck okay give me a few and I'll be right there."

I sighed "Emergency?"

He nodded hanging up his phone "I'm sorry babe."

I shook my head "It's okay...just be careful okay."

Ivar nodded "I regret father telling you the truth."

I nodded watching him get up and start getting dressed "Well I figured it out easily Ragnar just confirmed it...office work doesn't result in black eyes and bruised ribs."

He nodded "He favors you you know...even more than my mother he wants you in...none of us agree."

I nodded "Shouldn't that be up to me..."

Ivar cupped my chin "Because I would kill anyone who tried to come after you to get to me or my family...you're already at risk even being with me."
