*Ingrid's pov*

The years went on and so did Ivar's eventual defeat at the hands of all 3 of his brothers...everyone settled into a pretty peaceful life with Bjorn rolling over Kattegat...Ubbe decided ruling Kattegat wasn't what was best for our family for our children..after Selby we welcomed two more children twin daughters Jorunn Oili and Brenna Asta a little bit after Selby's 1st birthday...no matter how many times I asked Ubbe assured me he was fine not having sons if the gods deemed he would only have daughters he was okay with that...but now that I was with child again this time along with my sister-in-law Thora who already had 2 sons Egil Jerrik and Hagen Sigurd...I was hoping and praying this baby would be a boy...I sat watching the children play while my husband was off with Hvitserk and Bjorn....I looked up as Gunnhild sat down with little Runa Siv "Queen Gunnhild."

Gunnhild shook her head "You stop that we're sisters now."

I nodded "Right now I feel like livestock."

She chuckled softly "Soon to be 4 children."

I nodded "Seems like every time Ubbe returns from England I end up with child...I'm about to ban him from going."

Gunnhild laughed "I said the same thing after Ake was born then he left and then we had Gyda....left and now Siv only difference was I found out after he left."

I sighed "These Lothbrok men are very fertile."

She nodded "So are we dear Ingrid..."

I watched Selby twirling around.."I still worry you know Ivar is still out there I still worry he will figure this out that he did have an heir despite what happened with Freydis."

Gunnhild "Bjorn, Hvitserk, and Ubbe will never allow that to happen...do you ever plan to tell her?"

I sighed "I don't know...Ubbe says we should when she's old enough to understand why we made the decision we did but I don't see the point."

She nodded "A mother knows what's best...you made the best choice for your daughter to protect her from a mad man...never feel guilty for that Ingrid."

Just then Dag a trusted warrior and guard to the sons of Ragnar walked up "Queen Gunnhild...Princess Ingrid your husbands have asked for you and the children to come to the great hall immediately."

I slowly stood up "Girls come along your father is asking for us."

Selby ran up with her sisters little Brenna trying to keep up "Is daddy done mother?"

I smiled softly taking Brenna's little hand "Seems so my little dove let's go see what he and your Uncle Bjorn wants."

She nodded running a little ahead of us with Dag...

When we got to the hall I saw Thora with her and Hvitserk's children as well as Bjorn and Gunnhild's...our husbands bent over a table with a worried look I sent the girls over to Thora who took the children to play in another room "What's going on?"

Ubbe looked up "Love.."

I walked closer "Another raid Ubbe."

He shook his head his hand resting on the small of my back "No not a raid."

Bjorn sighed "Ivar has been spotted close by with a small army 10 men is what was saw...someone believes he has learned of Selby."

I felt my heart hit my stomach "What?"

He sighed "Don't think the worst Ingrid he may not know."

I shook my head "I knew we should of stayed in England but I wanted our children to grow up here but now Ivar is after my daughter."
