True Love(Vikings-Ivar the Boneless:Part 3){Modern Day}

*Ivar's pov*

Getting back into the swing of things took a little time even more so when I restarted therapy...Alva was amazing as always taking care of me and dealing with college but we were finally done graduation went great now mom was in full force wedding planning and I was determined to walk down the aisle with just my cane...today I was out with my brothers while Alva was out with my mother, Helga, Torvi and her best friend Selby who was dating Hvitserk..I sat listening to Ubbe complain about Margrethe "Why are you still with her man the sex can't be that good.."

Ubbe sighed "The sex is why."

I shook my head "She's batshit crazy brother good sex or not it ain't worth it one day you're going to wake up bound to the bed and not in a way that is fun for you."

He nodded "I know.."

I nodded "Warning Alva does not like her so don't plan on her being your plus one."

Hvitserk nodded "And that's one I wouldn't want to piss off she's tiny but vicious."

Ubbe nodded "I'm ending it just gotta figure out how and escape safely."

I chuckled "Alva.."

He laughed "Using my soon to be sister-in-law to break up with my girlfriend....you know that's not a bad idea."

I chuckled "I'm sure she'll jump at the chance."

Hvitserk laughed "I'm sure she would....so this wedding."

I nodded "Whatever she wants...she's not this overly glamorous girl whatever she decides on I'm good with I just agree or disagree when asked."

He nodded "Your wedding too.."

I nodded "And I'm giving my bride the wedding of her dreams I just want to marry her she could be standing in front of me in my hoodie and a pair of jeans and I'd be just as thrilled but I won't do the to her nor Jerrik this is going to be hard on her anyways not having her mom there so whatever she has her heart on it will be done all I asked was to handle the honeymoon."

Ubbe nodded "Have you decided on a place?"

I nodded "Dad is loaning me the jet...gonna fly her to the Bahamas...staying in mom and dad's place their."

Hvitserk chuckled "10 to 1 Alva comes back pregnant."

I laughed "Doubt it Alva wants to get a home settled first enjoying married life for a little bit before we expand the Lothbrok family."

He chuckled "Bjorn said that too..."

I nodded "But Torvi already had a kid so he became instant dad so that's different..."

Ubbe nodded "He right...personally I see nothing wrong..

I stopped him as my phone rang "Helga what's up?"

"Ummm well we're in the ER with Alva...."

I raised an eyebrow "Did she trip again?"

"No...she told us her stomach was hurting so we stopped and got her some ginger tea..she then doubled over in complete agony...we weren't going to call if it wasn't serious but they did blood work and just rushed her back for scans."

I threw money on the table "We'll be there in 10..tell her I'm coming."

"I will. "

I hung up "Alva is in the ER.."

Ubbe stood up quickly "Let's go.."

I nodded and then we left..when we got there I was met by Selby and Torvi..."What is it?"

Selby sighed as she led up to the same waiting room we all knew so well "They took Alva back to surgery.."

I stood there "What why?"

She sighed "You need to sit down.."

I slowly sat down "Tell me.."

Mom spoke up "Did you two know she was pregnant?"

I shook my head "No...we talked about it decided to wait...what is going on mom?"

She sighed deeply "Alva was pregnant but it had implanted in her tubes...its called a tubal pregnancy she should be fine but they have to get it out.."

I ran my hands over my face "Mom."

Mom shook her head "Alva will be fine she's a strong girl."

I nodded slightly...I sat for hours waiting on news even when Jerrik and dad arrived...I slowly stood with my crutches as a doctor walked up "How is she?"

The doctor nodded "Are you family?"

I nodded standing with Jerrik "I'm her fiance he's her father."

He nodded "It was a tubal pregnancy luckily no damage she's going to be very sore for a little bit.."

I nodded "I have one question if we decide to have kids can we?"

The doctor nodded "These things happen but there is no reason why she can't carry and have healthy children down the line."

I nodded "Can I see her?"

He nodded "She's in recovery I'll send a nurse for you as soon as she's put in a room."

I nodded "Thank you."

The doctor nodded and walked away

I sighed deeply "Thank the gods."

Jerrik nodded "Yes indeed."

I nodded...a little bit later I walked into Alva's room after Jerrik saw her "Now this is a change."

Alva smiled groggily "I'm in the bed now."

I nodded gently caressing her cheek "You scared the hell out of me baby...not a phone call I ever want to get again."

She sighed "It scared me too.."

I nodded "You're okay that's all that matters.."

Alva nodded "My ring.."

I took it out of my pocket "My mom had it.."

She nodded "I'm so sleepy Ivar."

I slipped her ring back on then leaned down pressing a kiss to her lips "Sleep babe I'll be right here."

Alva nodded "Okay.."

When she was asleep I sat down looking up as my brothers walked in "Mom leave?"

Hvitserk nodded "Went to get you guys some clothes.."

I nodded "Yeah.."

He nodded "Ubbe dumped Margrethe."

I looked up with a chuckle "Good.."

Ubbe nodded "How is she?"

I nodded slightly "She'll be sore for a bit but she'll be okay.."

He nodded "Kids?"

I smiled softly watching her sleep "No reason we shouldn't have healthy children down the line."

Hvitserk nodded "Good."

I nodded "You guys don't have to stay...I'm just gonna kick back and probably sleep too."

He nodded "Alright you need anything  call."

I nodded "Thanks guys."

Ubbe clapped a hand lightly on my shoulder then left

I sat watching her now I knew how it felt sitting in that waiting room not knowing and I officially loved her more than I thought I could
