Our Secret(Vikings-Ubbe/Hvitserk Ragnarsson:Part 7)

*Brenna's pov*

Being back in Kattegat especially with Ivar as King...Egil had sent for his sister in law Selby who Ivar was instantly attracted to and decided to make his wife further making allies between our families..as for me the healer said I could have the baby any day...I still got stares from Ubbe but the questions stopped and Hvitserk didn't leave unless he needed to...I was walking through Kattegat with my thrall Gull that Ivar gifted us insisting I kept her with me at all times and Hvitserk agreed..."Have you brought many babies into the world Gull?"

Gull nodded as she carried a basket with flowers and fruit "I helped my sister birth her 3 babes.."

I smiled softly "So will you be with me when I have mine?"

She nodded "If you want princess."

I nodded even with Ivar as King we were still called by the titles even the ones coming from marriage "Its going to be awkward for me two sister-in-laws and the wetnurses and healer.."

Gull smiled "Than I shall.."

I smiled "I think Hvitserk is more nervous than I am."

She smiled but quickly stopped "Prince Ubbe."

I frowned as Ubbe walked up "Ubbe.."

Ubbe looked at Gull "Leave.."

I placed a hand on her arm stopping her "She's fine what do you want?"

He nodded "I want to be there when the baby is born."

I raised an eyebrow "You can wait with your brother while he awaits the birth of his daughter."

Ubbe sighed deeply "Are we still on this...you and I both know she's mine...the sooner you admit it the sooner we can get pass this."

I rolled my eyes "There is nothing for me to get passed...you just need to accept the truth I am living my life happily with Hvitserk and we're about to welcome a daughter...you made your choices Ubbe what is happening now could of been yours but I wasn't enough you didn't value me at all...that night never should of happened and I regret it daily but get it through your thick head Son of Ragnar my child is not yours."

He shook his head "So you're telling me after all the times we were together one night with Hvitserk you're with child?"

I nodded "Yes..."

Ubbe had to laugh "I will be waiting to see."

I groaned "Why do you care Ubbe you chose someone else you married someone else and now your fucking your brothers former wife why can't you......"

He raised an eyebrow as I stopped "Brenna?"

I bent over as a pain shot through my belly "Oh gods....Gull!"

Gull rushed over "What's wrong princess?"

I tried to steady my breathing "The baby...get the healer...get Hvitserk."

She nodded and ran off

I tried to move as another pain hit me "Damnit.."

Ubbe placed a hand on my back "Let me help you."

I pushed him off "Leave me alone Ubbe.."

He shook his head and his picked me up carrying me into the hall and into a room "Quit being so stubborn no matter what you think of me it's about her!"

I let my nails dig into his arms "Fuck..."

Hvitserk ran in "Brenna...what happened?"

I sighed deeply "She's coming.."
