Sam let out a heavy sigh, dialing the number and waiting for the Demon he was calling to answer. His eyes flicked over to where Dean and the girls were standing.
"Moose," Crowley's deep voice crackled through the phone. "Unless you are calling because you bagged me an Alpha I suggest you hang up now."
"Blair's dead." He said bluntly, looking over at the red headed Witch who was watching him curiously. The plan was simple, they'd need to lure Crowley back here if they wanted to kill him, and what better motivation than to see the corpse of the girl he kept locked up for a century.
The other end of the line went silent and for a moment, Sam thought Crowley might have hung up on him. "What did you say to me?"
"Blair, you know, the Witch you kept locked up for a century? Strawberry blonde, 5' 3", green eyes." He listed off and he could practically feel Crowley's anger from the other end of the phone. "She's dead. The girls killed her. What do you want me to do with the body?"
Crowley took in a deep breath, "Well, first I want you to explain to me, exactly what happened."
Sam sat back in his chair, they had gone over the plan earlier that day. "We were working a case - dead bodies all across the state of Pennsylvania. Turns out they were Demons and it was a Witch, Blair, who had killed them. She followed the girls back to the Hotel and they shot her full of Witch killing bullets."
"I want to see her," Crowley spoke up once Sam had finished recounting the story. "I want to see her rotting corpse for myself!"
"Well, she's here," Sam told him, how worked up the Demon was getting, making Sam all the more curious about the back round between these two. "Come by whenever."
"If you're lying to me, Sam. I will kill you, so answer with your life - are you telling me the truth?"
Sam looked up slowly to meet Dean's eyes across the Hotel room, his face void of any emotion. "I saw it with my own eyes."
"I want to talk to Aurora." He said before Sam could even finish his sentence. He knew that Aurora had gone to talk to Karoline about something - the details of the affair lost to him.
Sam slowly stood up from his seat, looking from Dean, to the girls, to Blair all silent. "That's not a problem. She's right here." Sam turned to where Aurora was leaning up against the far wall and held out the phone to him.
Aurora flicked her bright blue eyes up to meet his as she slipped the phone from his hand. She let out a soft sigh, "Hello, Crowley."
"Aurora, love, what's this I hear about Blair's tragic end?" Crowley asked - he tried to seem casual about it, but Aurora could hear the slight flicker of hope in his voice. She almost felt bad, but at the end of the day he was still a Demon. He'd turn on her the same way if given the chance.
"It's true," she lied through her teeth. "She's gone." She told him, her eyes flickering across to Karoline's who nodded at her silently.
"I'll be there soon."
"Good," Aurora said. "I'll see you then, Crowley." With that she hung up, giving Sam back his phone. "He bought it."
Sam turned to Dean and the girls once Aurora walked off and Dean smirked slightly, "now, was that easy or what?"
Alayna simply shook her head, a hand resting on her stomach, "let's just get this over with."
Karoline felt her heart hammer against her chest at lightning speed, just begging to break free. Her lungs constricted as she raced through the woods, dodging low hanging tree branches and grasping the blade in her hand. It wouldn't kill an Angel, but it'd at least slow them down. She whipped around a thick tree trunk and pressed her back up against, stopping to catch her breath.
