Karoline let her legs sway lightly; perched up on the table with one leg crossed over the other. They were waiting for Aurora and Crowley to show up with the Purgatory mix of blood and then Castiel would finally cut them out of the deal. They'd use up their usefulness and then it would just be the two of them. The way this wall started. But, Balthazar's words kept ringing in her head.

He would die.

"Your Purgatory power-shake, Monsieur." Crowley's deep accent pulled her out of her own thoughts and she turned to see Aurora and Crowley come walking in, the latter holding a large jar of blood. "Half monster, half virgin."

"Thank you." Was all Castiel said as he took it before turning to set it on the table beside the blonde. His blue eyes traveled up to hers and she gave him a small smile, reaching up a hand to brush her fingers through his hair. His eyes fluttered closed, immediately leaning into her touch and bringing a small smile to her lips.

He just needed to be reminded that she was actually here with him - that he wasn't going to lose her. He'd already lost so much, and if he'd lost her? That would've sent him right over the edge.

"Gag me." Aurora muttered, rolling her eyes at the two of them.

Castiel reached up a hand to lace his fingers through the blonde hunters, gently setting her hand back in her lap before turning to the other two in the room. "I'm renegotiating our terms."

"Is that so? What terms do you propose?" Crowley inquired.

"You get nothing." Castiel said simply, and Karoline didn't miss the look on Crowley's face. Shock and anger all at once. "Not one single soul. Neither of you." His gaze flickered over to Aurora and her jaw dropped slightly.

"Excuse me?" Aurora took a slight step forward, but Castiel didn't seem the least bit intimidated. "You wouldn't dare. I arranged this whole deal."

"You think I'm handing all that power to the likes of you two?" His eyebrows furrowed, his head tipping to the side slightly. "I'm neither stupid nor wicked."

Crowley scoffed, "Unbelievable. Have you forgotten that you're the bottom in this relationship?"

"Well, consider yourself dumped." Karoline smirked at him, hopping off the counter and tilting her head at him.

"Here are your options," Castiel said as he pulled his gaze off the blonde and to the Demon and Angel across from him. "You either flee, or you die."

"If you think you're the least bit frightening, you're wrong Castiel." Aurora took a slight step forward, letting her Angel Blade slip from her sleeve and into her hand.

Karoline took a step forward just the same, raising a hand in her direction; in turn her eyes and skin lit up. Aurora gasped for breath that wasn't coming, feeling something inside of her twist and pull violently.

"Flee, or die." Castiel echoed.

Crowley looked between the three of them, suddenly aware of the situation he was in. "Boy, just can't trust anyone these days." He reached forward to touch Aurora's shoulder and in a blink they were gone. Karoline slowly lowered her hand, letting the grace inside of her settle beneath the surface as her eyes scanned for any sign of them.

"We have a problem." Castiel's eyes narrowed like he was seeing something she couldn't.

"What is it?"

"Dean and Alayna..." He finally turned to look at her, something simmering just below the surface of his blue eyes. "They're on their way here now."

Karoline's face fell in confusion, blinking rapidly as she tried to understand. "Here? How did they even find us?"

"Apparently we have a Judas in our midst."
