Emily's POV:
I woke up lying on Lin, I saw Vanessa stood by Sophias bed trying to comfort her. I carefully stood up not to wake the now sleeping Lin and snook out the room alone. I ran to the bathrooms, they smelled strongly of disinfectant. I ran into a stall and slammed the door shut.

I slumped onto the floor crying I couldn't believe someone was dying because of me and she was my only friend. My eye catches a glimpse of silver,there was a broken piece of a mirror, I picked it up and inspected it before holding it to my wrist. No. My wrist was too obvious so I rolled down my sock and felt the shard of mirror glide through my skin releasing the oozing blood. I felt a bit better after so I quickly washed my ankle so it stopped bleeding and pulled up my sock.

I headed back to Sophias room by this point she'd fallen back asleep. Vanessa gave me a comforting smile "you ok now sweetie?" I smile "yeah a bit better " I say and she hugs me. I feel terrible she'd be so disappointed in me if she found out what if just done, she couldn't find out under any circumstance no one could.

Lin had left for the show but me and Vanessa stayed with Sophia, they were trying to find her family but it was impossible it was almost like they didn't want her back. It was my shift while Vanessa got some sleep and Sophia woke up she looked me dead in the eyes and whispered "my parents, they hired the hitman they've been trying to kill me for years I've brought shame to my family they are trying to erase their shame, they're trying to erase me...." she then fell back asleep leaving her voice to run riot haunting me and interrupting my every thought.

Why would her parents hate her? Why would they try to kill her? Was I hallucinating? Why does it make sense? What's going to happen to her?...
~timeskip of like a week sorry~

Sophia was finally discharged from hospital she'd survived! But the problem was her family still hadn't been found so Lin and Vanessa let her stay with us just for a while though they couldn't look after 2 teens and 1 toddler sadly. She slept in my room we took turns of who slept on the floor and who slept on the bed it was like a sleepover only longer.

I woke up and saw that Sophia was awake sketching as she did every morning. Lin burst in "GIRLS DO YOU WANT PANCAKES AND DISNEY MOVIES?!!????!" We both laughed and nodded. We all went in the kitchen and Lin began making the pancakes while me and Sophia sat down. "Where's Sebby and Vanessa?" I ask curious."well Vanessa has a case and Sebby is at daycare" Lin told me as he piled all the pancakes onto a plate and sat on the sofa with us, I turned the little mermaid on Lin patted my head "the child knows" I burst out laughing and started eating the pancakes. Me and Lin ate like 6 pancakes but I noticed Sophia had only eaten 1 she probably wasn't hungry she never ate much in the mornings.

After the Disney marathon we headed to the theatre as Lin had a show to do we sung musical songs on the way I was comfortable singing in front of Lin now, he always said I was a good singer but I think he has to say that because I live with him. Though Sophia only sung quietly I could tell she wasn't comfortable but I understood she was quite a good singer.

When we arrived at the theatre Lin went over the new rules, "no going outside unaccompanied and no going on the roof" he told us, it was annoying but I knew he was trying to protect us. We walked into the theatre greeted by the cast, they hadn't seen me or Sophia since she was shot. Jon shouted "GROUP HUG FOR THE CHILDREN" and within a minute we we surrounded by the cast but we didn't group hug for to long or we all would've suffocated.

"Emily?" I snap back into reality Sophia is waving her hand in front of my face we both laugh but quietly as the show was still on. "You zoned out again" she whispered "oh sorry what happened" I whispered back "Jazzy,Renee and Pippa are take us shopping after the show" she whispered to me and I nodded.

After the show we said goodbye to Lin and hopped into Renees car ready to shop. "So what are you girls going to buy?" Pippa asked excitedly. "I'm not sure yet maybe some new shirts or shoes" I tell her then we all look to Sophia for her answer. She turns red and whispers "I don't have any money, I'm sorry" Renee laughs "don't worry sweetie we'll pay for you" Sophia looks shocked for a second "please don't I feel so terrible if you did" she replied frantically. "Nope our minds are made, we're buying you new clothes and shoes and there is nothing you can do to stop us" Jazzy says sticking her tongue out and we all burst into fits of laughter.

Sophia's POV:
When we arrived at the shopping mall we first got food, I chose McDonalds and just got some fries, I felt bad spending their money when soon I'd be gone anyway I didn't want them to grow close to me or spend money on me.

We spent all day trying on clothes and joking around, by the end of it I had 3 bags full of clothes I was very thankful and I projected this but I also felt extremely guilty, obviously I couldn't tell them this they would just laugh and say that it was fine.

That night it was my turn to sleep on the floor I waited until everyone in the house was sleeping and I grabbed a pen but Emily woke up "Sophia come back to bed" she told me "I-I just need to write something down" I whispered she rolled her eyes "well I'm going back to sleep"she sung and we both laughed quietly then she fell back asleep. I started to write.

Dear Lin,Vanessa,Emily,Sebastian and the cast,
thank you for everything you've done for me these past few weeks but I know you can't care for me forever so I shall make our parting easier, I hope I shall find luck in the foster system and I'm very sorry but to make my journey to an orphanage I must borrow some food and money I'm terribly sorry.
Thank you and goodbye forever.

I left the note on the fridge and packed the clothes into one of Emily's old backpacks she'd lent me. I took $20 from Lins wallet on the side I felt terrible but I needed it, I also grabbed a few slices of bread and an apple. I took one last look at the apartment that had made me feel welcome, that had fed and watered me. I smiled then sighed as I walked out the door and out of the apartment complex the cool air hit my face and I began to make my way to a bus stop...
