Whitney-Rose was never a snitch. Well, if she got paid enough, she wasn't. But no amount of money could keep her quiet about this.
Appearing back in Hell, she walked to the large wooden doors of the office and knocked.
"Come in," a deep voice answered from behind the door.
Whitney-Rose pushed open the door and walked over to the desk. Dexter looked up from his paperwork and grinned. "Ah, Whitney. Do you have my report?"
Dexter was her boss, one of the three bosses who were in charge of running Hell. His jurisdiction was over the Havocs of Hell. He was tall and well-built. He had white eyes, like the other bosses, but had black hair. Like the others, he was blunt and mostly emotionless.
Whitney-Rose hesitated. The Boss didn't like it when a report was late, but she had a feeling he would overlook it this time. "No. I could not get the report. Something much more urgent has taken my attention."
Dexter leaned back and laced his fingers together. She continued, "It's about Asher. It's happened again."
Dexter's eyes widened a fraction. Suddenly, he stood up and beckoned for Whitney-Rose to follow. Dexter walked down the long hallway to another wooden door with the nameplate reading "Thorn." Without knocking, Dexter opened the door and walked inside. Whitney-Rose followed suit.
Thorn looked up from his paperwork and frowned. Thorn was very similar to Dexter in terms of size and build, but he was a tad bigger. He had brown hair and darker skin instead of the black hair and tan skin Dexter had. He was in charge of overseeing the Possesors. "Dexter, what have I told you abo―"
"It's a code blue 47. Meet me in Conference Room 278 in two minutes."
Thorn's mouth was left hanging open as Dexter turned around and left, Whitney-Rose trailing behind. Dexter turned a corner and opened another door; this time the nameplate read "Belladonna."
Dexter opened the door and gestured for Whitney-Rose to enter first. Belladonna was already walking over to the pair.
Belladonna was by far the most intimidating of the three, to Whitney-Rose at least. It made sense, considering she was the head of the Eliminators. She had long dark red hair and pale skin. While the men showed a few emotions, she showed none. If she did, it meant very bad news. "What is it this time?"
"Code blue 47," Dexter replied. "Conference Room 278 in one minute."
Belladonna nodded and gestured for the two to leave. Dexter and Whitney-Rose started to make their way to the conference room. "Whitney-Rose."
"Yes?"
"Explain what you saw very carefully. Answer any questions truthfully. Lying about something as bad as this is punishable―"
"―by death. I know. I was there for―"
"You know we aren't allowed to say that name."
"Considering the circumstances, I believe they will overlook it."
Dexter said nothing and pushed open the door to the conference room. Belladonna and Thorn were already seated at one end of the long dark mahogany table. Dexter snapped his fingers and was instantly sat between Belladonna and Thorn. Whitney-Rose sat at the other end and began to speak when Dexter gestured for her to begin.
"I was in the Human Realm checking on Gunner to gather data for the monthly report. As I was being transported to him, I saw Asher and decided to ask how his mission was going."
"Why? Did someone ask you to?" Thorn asked.
Whitney-Rose swallowed before answering. "Yes. Dexter said not to seek him out, but if I saw him to ask." When Thorn nodded, she continued. "Asher looked busy, so I waited on the top of a nearby building for him to finish. But then―"
Whitney-Rose paused. She suddenly became aware of the seriousness of the situation she had gotten herself into. If she told, she would most likely be the one to kill Asher. She didn't want to kill him. But mistakes had to be punished.
"―he took off his shirt, and he had enormous black wings."
Thorn tensed. Belladonna frowned. Dexter sighed through his nose. In unison, they asked, "Is there anything else we need to know?"
"He showed two humans their worst fear. He then proceeded to drag them to a dumpster and leave them before trying to jeopardize the mission."
"How?" Belladonna asked, lacing her fingers together.
"He tried to make the POH impure."
Belladonna nodded once before glancing at the two men beside her, who each mimicked her action. "You are dismissed. We will consider everything you have told us in our final decision."
Whitney-Rose thanked the three and left, firmly shutting the door behind her. Belladonna turned to Thorn and Dexter and said, "Asher must be stopped."
Thorn nodded. "I agree. He is putting us in danger."
Dexter sighed. "I agree. Who shall we send?"
Belladonna smiled wide. "I know just the demons."
Dexter had to suppress a shudder. Belladonna's smiles were never pleasant.

"Wow. Can't say I'm surprised. I never liked him, anyway," Baxter said as he sat across from the Three.
Natasha rested her head against his arm. "Same here. Do we get to know what he did?"
"No. You have your orders. Go now," Belladonna deadpanned.
"Okay. Hopefully, this won't take long," Baxter said as he helped Natasha up. He made sure they both had their weapons before making their way to the portal, leaving the Three in the conference room.
"Hey, babe? What do you think Asher did?" Natasha asked as she looked up at him.
Baxter met her yellow gaze with his own black one. "I don't know. What do you think?"
"Something really bad. He was Dexter's second favorite, after all. That's why he got to go and no one else did."
Baxter smiled at his girlfriend. "You're probably right. That's just going to make killing him that much more fun."
